April Cash back is now $2500 by allentier

New April Cash Back is up $500 to a total of $2500. Unfortunately, we can not combine it with 0.9% for 48 months or 2.9% for 60 months.

Last Saturday, I tried to make a deal on loaded G35-Sport Premium Nav MSRP is $39,800 invoice $36,000 and my offer is $34,000 with 2.9% for 60 month. The dealer had $500 cash back.

Back to the TL-S, I want one but I interested to offer $32,500 to 33,00 Max and get a special financing rate of 0.9% for 48 months. It seems very close with current cash back, but not combo with special financing rate which is really sad.

What do you think, wait a bit or shop around?

I don't think you can get this car for $33000. But with the extra $500 incentive now, you may get close to that.

Invoice is $35,117 before destination fee. So figuring 35,850 minus 2500, leaves you around $33,350. You'll scrap for every dollar below invoice, and getting $350 off of that is going to be difficult.

I was able to get one last month for $33,300 (See Post #8978). This was with only the $2000 incentive and not extras.

I don't think you'll be able to get a special financing rate along with the incentive. It's more than likely one or the other so you'd have to figure out which one would be better for you. I think the $2500 incentive is pretty good and this could be the best it's gonna get.

Wow-NAVI $31,300 Out the door by soonercat

Been lurking a while. Since 2.5 k incentive hit. I sent local dealer an offer via their web site letting them know money in hand buying today. Offer: Carbon Bronze pearl/Taupe total $31,100 OTD. (tax 30 days later in Oklahoma). They counted at $31,600 ("we are loosing money on $31,100--how about $31,300 TODAY"). I told them I had to sleep on this. What concerns me is that a 07 TL Navi has a trade in of $28,000 or so. Dealers no go into holdback easily. ($31,500 is that threshold). I cannot combine low APR here. .9 is good but $2500 better in my case. Values are really going down and I would not be surprised to see 3-3.5k cash as this winds down. I would tell you all this, the moment they stop producing the 08 is the time to strike (June 08)--not when inventory is winding down in Aug-Sep">. I see huge inventory at all acura dealers. Is a $30,000 possible before this thing winds down? This is a lot of car for the money.

I bought my car last Saturday but only got the $2000 instead of the $2500. I figured it was going to go down, and agree that the deals will only keep getting sweeter and sweeter as the time passes. I personally was at a point where I HAD to purchase so I was happy enough holding out to get the $2K and got my TL for close to the same price to the 2007's I was considering. I really hustled the deal so I basically would have saved an extra $300, but that isn't worrying me.

I think they will have to stop dropping at some point, but another $500 to $1000 doesn't seem unrealistic. With the Honda's dropping a huge amount over the last few weeks, seems like Acrua is following right behind but the prices are still saying relevant to each other.

If anyone is on the fence I would say, if you can wait, why not because the dealers will ONLY get sweeter. I agree with soonercat that you shouldn't wait all the way till september when you won't get your choice pick of options. On the flip side, the prices will always go lower, and there will always be a better deal tomorrow so if you need a car, just buy and then stop looking at the prices I am happy to have paid a little more and enjoy the car for the extra months that I would have been waiting.

For anyone trying to decide if this is the right car for them, oh boy, this IS the car for you!!! I took mine on the highway today for the first time (picked up on Monday) and it is am amazing ride. So smooth, sleek, and high end. I feel like a million bucks when I am in this car. The bluetooth is sweet too! I went with the Navi so that is fun, and the reverse camera rocks. This car is definitely a lot of car for the price.

Did anyone notice that the 2008TL printed brochure at the dealer says "Heated outside mirrors with reverse gear tilt-down and integrated directional signals"???

Mine don't tilt down, was this a misprint???

It appears as if the prices will keep dropping. If you can wait, they certainly aren't going up. I have been speaking with dealers regularly since late February. First it was just $2000 back, then it was the 2k and the financing (which was set to expire at the end of March), now it is 2.5k and the financing. Just how low will it go? I got offered an 08 NAVI for 33000 with financing or 31,500 if I bought by the end of last month. They are obviously desperate to move these cars, especially with the 09s coming out in the fall. My hope is to hang on til Memorial Day weekend and get some end of the month pricing along with whatever deal Acura is offering then. I am fine with paying $33k, but my hope is that the .9 goes for the 60 month loan as well. Does anyone have any insight as to what the incentives could be or when they are extended? I am assuming the last week of each month they should know what kind of deals are being offered for the next month.

Only one of the two rearview mirrors will tilt down when you put the car in reverse. You choose which one by setting the rear mirror adjuster thing to that mirror. If you have it set in the middle (ie not set to a particular mirror) neither mirror will tilt.

I hope this made some sense...

Not sure if I followed you on this one

So are you taking about the tiny switch that you move to the left, center, or right hand side when you are adjusting the rear view mirror positioning? Or is this setting within the computer settings? Please do share. I would have easily gone forever thinking I got stumped on a feature that I hoped to have, but never got.

Anxiously awaiting more info.
