I never said the TL-S doesn't torque steer. I can drive it right and I do encounter torque steer daily, it is still better than embarrassment of being seen with an auto trans. Driving to and from work is what 99% of us do with our cars, and 95% of those never even push it(so they can buy Camrys) You are COMPLETELY RIGHT with the last sentence, if you want to get a daily driver that you can autocross or take to the track, the TL-S ain't it. That said, I have thought about taking mine to nearby track just for fun and to see what it will legally do. I know it won't match the CTS-V and M3(E46) that I have driven on the track, but I knew that when I bought it. Since I never really do make it to the track the way my life is right now, it made sense to compromise. I really did seriously consider a 07 Legacy B spec and a CTS-V, both of which have tons of tuner mods avail and would be tire/gas eating street monsters. I figured that since I want to build a new house this year, that it would be hard to justify the extra insurance, fuel and not to mention tires to the little lady, so I chose the compromise. You can still have fun with FWD tho, I have a circular park/traffic circle/skidpad in fromt of my office. Today I was having fun flooring it until I understeered, then lifting the throttle so it oversteered. Ok, I know it's not as fun as drifting.

I'm in the market for a TL but I was told that the back seats does not fold down and that only the center can fold. Can someone from this forum who owns the 08 confirm? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

Just wondering if anybody knows what the new current offers are for the TL. Did they keep the $2k cash back? Lower finance rates? Thanks in advance |

I have been lurking on the G35 forum for the past few weeks but at the last minute have decided against the G and am going to go with the Type S. The G's poor gas mileage, offset tires and assorted packages along with lines that are not as sleek as the TL have me changing vehicles. I have not seen what actual invoice price is for the Type S automatic on Edmunds. What is the invoice price for this car and then the actual destination charge? I have seen people getting some good deals since they are taking 2,000 off the invoice and would be interested in what anyone is paying for a Type S in Arizona. Thanks
