Got the following quote for a Base TL including destination $28,999, with TTL additional. For a TL with Nav, quoted $31,246 + TTL. This was from Sierra Acura of Alhambra. Have not purchased yet.

I want to purchase a 2008 TL Type S (manual transmission) in the Maryland/DC area. I’ve been reading all the posts but haven’t found any from my area. The $33,200 prices quoted from some California dealers don’t seem to be available around here. The invoice price I found on Edmunds is $35,117. So, subtract 2% dealer holdback, subtract $2000 for dealer cash and you have a dealer’s cost of $32,338. I’m getting the following email quotes: Pohanka: $33,117 + 399 (processing fee) +715 (dest charge) = $34,231 ChevyChase: $34,032 (incl dest charge) +100 (processing fee) = $34,132 Rosenthal: $33,696 + 95 (processing fee) + 715 (dest charge) = $34,506 So, are these reasonable offers? Are those California prices without the destination charge? Because I want a manual transmission, I don’t think I’ll be able to negotiate much – Acura doesn’t seem to make many. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

We had agreed on a final OTD price so I could bring a check and when I got there they said they couldn't honor it. I had to fight them for it. I was hoping moving up to Acura they would be beyond those kind of games. So beware. |

Any one who just bought the TLs can please let us know if the 2.9% financing still available or just the lease deals going on right now. Thanks.
