I did requested a quote from the Power South Bay Acura at Torrance and it was the highest price I received compared with 7 other dealers around the LA area. The quote they gave me was $35,637. I also went to the dealer last week to test drive the Type-S. I only saw few brand new TL and Type-S on their roof and the dealer was extremely small compared with other dealers I visited from the past. However, the sale representatives were very nice there.

Hi aychen, do you still have the copy of the quote of $32,700 on the email? Thanks!

Hi rukiddingme1, do you have some quotes from any dealer at OC? Thanks!

Hey dimsumlo,
I only have one quote back and that was from Power Acura South Bay in Torrance for a TL w/Navi. MSRP quoted was $36,940. Price quoted was $32,816.
I do not know if this was with destination charge or not.
I have 4 other quotes out to Orange County dealerships and I should have by tomorrow as they have all contacted me.
The other dealership is in Cerritos.
I will post prices tomorrow.

Hey dimsumlo,
Yes I am only asking for quotes on the TL base model and the TL with Navi.
Maybe I should shop the S-model with all these great prices I see for them on this site!

Hi rukiddingme1, I will definiely go with Typ-S for myself. I think its only $1500~$2500 or less different and you will get all those extra from TL w/Nav.

- 3.5-liter V6 engine for 286 horsepower
- Quad exhaust pipes
- Restyled taillights and front fascia
- Lip spolier
- LED lights
- Brembo breaks
- Dark silver 10-spoke wheels
- Unique two tone Type-S trim on the headrests and steering wheel
- Racing pedals
- Carbon fiber trim
- Red interior lighting (as opposed to blue in the base TL)

Rukiddingme1!!! GO WITH TYPE-S!! hahaha (i'm not a sale person)

Hey dimsumlo,
If you were my salesman I probably would have driven off with the TL-S with that kind of salesmanship!
I actually like my cars to fly under the radar so the TL with Navi with black on black is good for me (batman style).

The price of $32700 included the destination charges but without TTL and this was a purchase. I have not seen any price less than it for a Type-S. This included the dealer cash and nearly 3% of the holdback.

Hi dimsumlo,

Did you speak with the fleet manager? I got the price from the Power South Bay Acura at the beginning of the year through the fleet department. This was the lowest number I got (without any negotiations) compared to other dealers around the LA area. However, they didn't have the color I was looking for at that time but had one coming at the beginning of Feb. I waited almost 3 weeks for the shipment and I got the car 2nd day after it arrived at the dealer. I don't know if this affect the pricing or not.

Yes, the dealer was smaller compared with other dealers. But, they seems to move the car pretty fast.

I read on the RL forum that Honda recently majorly increased cash incentives on some Honda models....apparently it was implemented on Friday... and thisposter claimed they were large increases to move some models.

anyone hear anything about it and has Acura done the same on any models?

I was the poster on the Ridgeline forum (I've also been looking at Acuras). The Honda incentive increases seem to have been on only the Ridgeline and the Pilot, in each case going from $1500 to $3500. A dealer told me about it on Friday, and Edmunds has confirmed it in the "Latest Incentives" list. It doesn't look like Acura's changed anything.
