Not major $30K deals but still dealt with SERVICE and contracts etc. I was the type of salesman that sold on service, I had a service to offer other than the club itself, I had ME to offer. I could give myself to my members more often to help work out, give gifts too {hats, t-shirts} and be there for the members. I dont know how much service a car dealer can give, "Backrubs" I was gonna say "Didya want him to pick up your suits at the dry cleaners?"It seemed more to me a 'contest' and a challenge for the OP ed. of this to the salesman, IF your a good enough salesman for ME than you get my business. To a point he has a point, its his money and his hard work to deal it out to whichever salesman convinces him that he is worthy of his money but in the end, its about feeling comfortable with a dealership and getting the best bottom line price and being able to go back for service and getting top notch service. Service guys dont give a rats poop about your sales pitch etc. They could even make your car owning experience bad... I still wish I could get a TL and one day I will get one.

I'm looking to have a custom stereo installed in my 2006 Acura TL w/ Nav. The existing system is great for stock, but not quite what I'm looking for. I was wondering if anyone has done this to their car and what suggestions / feedback you may have. I'm thinking of getting a 10" or 12" top of the line subwoofer w/amp (I would ideally like only 1 as opposed to 2+ subs to conserve trunk space. I was also considering gutting the speakers and having new ones installed and also amplified. The catch is I want to be able to access / control everything through the stock / existing touch screen Navi system, which I have been told is possible. Also, the known rattling condition in these models is a bit of a concern as well. Please advise. Thanks!!

Acura had a $2K incentive going at the end of the year on TLs, which was why some of us were seeing prices near $2K under invoice. An Acura sales guy I've been in contact with since then told me the other day that Acura is again offering more incentive dollars. Anyone know anything about that? Is this just a continuation of the $2K, or have they sweetened the deal even further?
