I've been getting similiar quotes in the Philly area for TL base and TL NAV, $1500 below invoice. I imagine you should be able to get the same pricing on a S-type.

Just received a quote to buy at $34,000 (includes TTL). This car is brand new ('06) model that has never been registered. So the base they're asking for is around $31K. With '08 models on the lot soon if not already, does this sound like a good deal? Received a quote of $31,100 before TTL, no navigation, and dealer is willing to give me 7 year 100,000 bumber to bumber warranty at no extra cost. Are most TL's being sold at the 4 year 50,000 mile warranty? Is this a good deal?

I just did the True Market Value (TMV) appraisal on Edmunds, and they came up with 32.5K for a used 2006 TL, manual, w/navigation, with less than 1K miles on it. Not sure how much credit to give it, especially if you say this car was selling new for less. I went to a NJ Acura dealer today fully expecting to buy a TL S Blue based on the Edmunds TMV price of 35,735 (dealer would not go below 36,500) and the Edmunds trade in value of $5,200 for my 2002 Mitsu Diamante (dealer said Galves trade in value is only $3,000). I kind of felt like a dope and they said "we have people come in here all the time with Edmunds and Blue Book numbers for new and used cars and they just aren't realistic." At this net price I cannot afford the car. Are they feeding me a bill of goods? Is the Edmunds TMV accurate? Could the Edmunds trade in value be that far off (BTW, the Kelly Blue Book value for my Mitsu was almost $7,000). Can anyone tell me what prices and values I can count on?
