Just started negotiating with Lehigh Valley Acura in Allentown Pa. today. Quoted me $36,995 before TT&L on a 2007 TL Type S. They said the $500 back from financing with Honda Motor Corp ended the beginning of June. Also said the price was the best they could do since the car was a "hot" car and the 10 they had were more than any other area dealers. Also said some deals were going for MSRP. Seems a far cry from the $35,000 paid by p3bPilot a few posts up. What do you think?

Hi I am looking for Acura TL w/o navigation to buy. What price can I expect from a dealer which includes destination? How much will they be going below invoice price (31500)? Please do let me know if should be going to any particular dealer. I am in brooklyn, can go around to NJ, long island to buy. Thank you.

The cars are going for close to invoice in the Atlanta area. I was able to get my car for ~$300 under invoice with the protection package thrown in (not calculated in the price). We're lucky to have 5 Acura dealerships within an hour's drive and perhaps more importantly, several Audi, BMW, Infiniti, Mercedes, and Cadillac dealers as well. (When I bought my car a few weeks ago, the Infiniti dealer was pushing M35's at under Invoice with 1.9% financing. I think A4's are basically free right now too, as are the current gen CTS's) Also, when you see out the door prices on this forum, keep in mind that not everyone pays the same taxes, so some of the deals that seem too good to be true, probably are in your area. (e.g. We have 7% taxes in our county and 2 miles from my house they're 6%, and a few miles further they're even lower or higher) Ultimately it came down to the 328, the G35 and the TL Type-S. The G35 was nice, but the gas mileage was terrible, the back seat was as small as my A4 (too small), and the navigation is crippled while driving. The TL offered virtually identical power (though I wish it was AWD/RWD) and a much larger back seat and better gas mileage. The 328 broke the $40k line before I even had navigation added, so that was out. Even though the TL Type-S is an outgoing model after next year, there's something to be said for getting a car with every option available. It makes it easier to live with down the road knowing you didn't leave anything on the table to regret not adding to the car. My 2 cents.

Hello, I am new to these forums and have absorbed alot of useful information. I will begin to negotiate on a 2006 TL/Navi this morning. This will be my first Acura purchase and would greatly appreciate any advice that you gents have to offer. I am currently working with the internet manager and have been told that he will present his best OTD offer this morning. The 2006 TL/Navi is listed on the dealer website with mileage at 8,000 and a price of $31,988. It appears that this dealership thinks this vehicle is worth what people were paying a year ago brand new. I would appreciate any advice as to what target price I should shoot for. Thanks in advance for any advice that you can provide.

Replying to: av8r7 (Jun 25, 2007 4:29 am) I can't tell you what a good price is for a used 2006, but I paid $33700 for a new 2007 TL/Navi and you will find others on this board who paid even less and got spalsh guards, trunk trays, etc. thrown in. So I, personally, would not pay $32k for a used 06. You should be able to do much better, IMHO. |

I am about to buy a 2007 Acura TL with Navigation but I will not take the incentive financing. I read through recent emails on this site but was not clear on whether purchase prices mentioned were or were not in connection with the incentive financing which reduces the sales price by $500. Any guidance on base purchase price I should pay would be appreciated.
