My $32,750 quote was from Acura of Boston, located near Boston/Peabody area of MA. This quote was given over the phone, after I explained I have talked to several other dealers and was ready to buy immediately at the lowest price.

Had I not prefaced with that information, most likely the quote would have been more. I did receive another quote from a different Acura dealership (it was their "Internet" price) of $33,100.

Let me know how you make out. Best of luck!

Cash deal by juliaz3

I'm thinking of offering $32,000 for a cash deal on a 2007 TL with navi. I never pay the dealer for taxes, title, and tags since it's easy for me to do that myself. I want to make sure I get all accessories such as floormats included that should be included -- is there anything to ask for specifically? I don't want pinstriping or any additions.

Is $32,000 a good offer or a bit too high or low? Once I make up my mind, I'm firm and willing to walk to another dealer, but I want to know that I'm making a reasonable and fair offer.

Its a bad system with poor data. Go get a Garmin-not the cheapest and you'll thank yourself for a long time. Acura charges too much for upgrades also $200 and Garmin is much less for much better data.

Pretty misleading statements. The POIs (points of interest) aren't great but the mapping function is flawless (at least in NE where I live). Also, the Acura Navi is fully integrated, whereas the Garmin isn't. So it comes down to personal preference...you'll probably get a little more feature/functionality with a Garmin, but it won't be integrated and you'll have an ugly little box sticking out somewhere inside your car.

Exactly, a little ugly add-on box with a wire dangling down. I'm the one who started this thread and I still regret it. What I'm using now is the E-Z Navigator feature on my Verizon cell phone. I'm sure it isn't as good as some of the Garmin; but it gets me there, offers text to speech, POI (which I haven't used) and it's not ugly. I can fold it up and put it in my pocket or purse when I'm done!

New Invoices on TLs? by new2cars

Hello all,

I told by a dealership that the TLs have "new invoice" prices and in order to give me the 2007 TL that I want for the price I want, they can give me a TL with an "old invoice." What's the difference between the old invoice and new one? What does that mean exactly? Thanks!

There was a price increase somewhere around February 1st.. Old invoice cars would have been manufactured prior to the price increase...

I know that Edmunds.com shows special financing going through the end of April but how reliable is this information? None of the dealers I spoke to would confirm it.

Thanks! Do you know how much of an increase it is?
