I am located in rockville, MD.
I just bought a new 2007 TL with navi.
I got the first offer of $34500 at rockville. The second offer of $33950 at baltimore. I bought the car at rockville for $33,700. This is the best price we could get.

TL w/Navi - in Northern NJ by barbinchat

Do the prices quoted above already include the destination charge?

Been visiting this board for months and am about ready to splurge and purchase an 07 with Navi. I started reaching out to dealers for quotes and the best one I've received so far is for $33500+destination. Based on the above posts, it would seem that I could do better than this. The internet manager seemed flexible enough and was willing to negotiate - however I don't want to keep going back and forth and play that game. Any suggestions the best way to proceed? I was thinking of waiting till end of March or even end of April while the special 1.9% financing is still going on as they might be more flexible towards the end of the month.

This will be my first new car in 12 years and I really hate the thought of going back to car payments!!!

Thanks

No. The price doesn't include the destination charge.
I believe that I probably can get $33500 or even a little bit lower if I go to baltimore. However, it would be too much trouble for me.
Good Luck!

If you can get 1.9% financing, I'd finance the TL. Then put the cash you would have spent on the TL in a money market mutual fund, or bank mm if the interest rates are high enough, which are currently paying ~5% interest and use that invested money to pay for the TL. And you get to keep the interest/dividends that your money is earning...!

Acura Financing by new2cars

Based on the posts I've read, is Acura still offering the 1.9% financing? Is this nationwide or does it vary from state to state? I'm getting impatient and I am ready to buy a new TL with nav by the end of March- hopefully! I, too, haven't had car payments in 11 years so this is big step for me.

Is it possible to get a TL w/ navigation in Moroccan Red with ebony interior? I do not want the Type S and am not sure that this color combo is available.

Thanks.

Not possible- taupe or parchment. The acura site shows combinations they offer in build and price section.

Dealer Cost by tballer

Is there any way to determine the actual dealer cost of a TL w/ Navigation?

The invoice prices I have found on the internet range from $32,953 to $33,137, but I am looking for the actual cost to the dealer so I can determine a fair offer on the car.

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they get (all Honda and Acura) a 3% holdback on MSRP. They actually pay dealer invoice for the car, but once it sells they'll get 3% of the MSRP back. Good luck getting into the dealer holdback money though. I think a fair offer on the TLs is anywhere from invoice to $500 above invoice depending on what region of the country purchase the car in (seems like you get a better offer in the NE and California) from reading this board frequently.
