| Looking online i see the MSRP in the states is about 1000 less then the canadian price and that has anothing to do with shipping as that is not even included in the price. Some people in the US have been getting the car for 35K US that is 5000 less when converted to what are MSRP price would give us. ANYONE FROM CANADA GETTING GREAT DEALS | |

Replying to: carteach (Mar 09, 2007 3:54 pm) I am planning to buy a 2007 TL no nav this month (and can wait until last day of the month). First, Edmunds shows invoice price for TL (auto) without Nav as $30,848. Someone in this thread had mentioned an invoice on it as $31,500 or so. What is the correct invoice price? Second, what's a reasonable deal? Considering the invoice of $30,848 makes their cost $29,923 (with the 3% holdback-correct?) and everything I've read so far, it seems I might be able to offer invoice + TTL or am I crazy? I live in NJ and have easy access to Princeton Acura, Brigewater Acura, and Langhorne Acura. And my last question is what is best way to proceed? Do I simply e-mail the dealerships with my offer and see what comes back? Do I visit and do it in person? Again, any comments would be appreciated.

Two dealerships took me up on my price and I chose the closest of the two. Unfortunately, my local dealer wouldn't deal with me (look at my past posts). Usually dealers in smaller markets are more willing to deal, especially near the end of the month. My experience with internet sales is like participating in "a game." It takes too long and eventually they might wear you down. Their $1000 off MSRP "internet special" is really bogus. You can achieve that at any dealer you personally visit. |

Is this a good price? I am in Southern California, the buying only took me less than 2 hours from walking in to driving the car out. I was very pleased with the non-hassle process. However, because it was so quick and the dealer did not seem to hesitate to take my ask price, I am thinking that I should have asked for $30,800 or so --- just stick to the invoice price. |

I received a several quotes for a 2007 TL with Navigation. THe best quote I received is below: MSRP $36,795 sales price: $34,350 3 yr/12k mile lease: $485/mo with $530 out-of-pocket at signing. I am not sure : (1) whether this is a good deal or if I can get the dealer to go lower or another dealer to beat the offer; and (2) whether I should lease or buy.
