Bought a TL-S (black/black) today at Springfield Acura.   Paid $35,181.87 + $670 DC + 189 doc fee + TTL. OTD price of $38,900. Very smooth transaction, helpful staff. I may have haggled the price down some more, but my old car died the middle of last week (transmission) and I didn't want to keep paying rental car charges.

Was quoted 31,004 for a 6MT with NAV. Should I be able to do better than this considering this is now a 1 year old car?   BTW, I'm in Central NJ.

I'm in the market for the TL with nav and I hope to buy one by the end of this month. Has anyone purchased the extended warranty? Is it worth it? What about Low Jack? Thanks! Hi, I amthinknig of getting a 2007 Acura TL Base. I noticed that when you build it, u either get the navi or you dont. i am trying to find out a good OTD price for both options. was quoted $35,695 (+ TTL)on the '07 TL-S 6sp MT, is it a good price or I can do better? don't forget guys that I have to trade in my '05 TL w/o Nav 6sp MT and only 5650 Miles on it?

I'm waiting for a low apr deal, and looking at price of approximately $34,500 OTD. I think that is reasonable price? Replying to: new2cars (Feb 22, 2007 12:47 pm) I got the 8 year/120k mile AcuraCare Warranty for $1,515 which is $100 over the actual cost. I just reminded them that they can either make a small profit or lose the opportunity. They didn't hesitate because I didn't back down. The original price they quoted me was around $2,300. I got the TL w/Nav for $33,400 + TTL. Out the door was $35,109 before the warranty. Deals are out there but you have to be patient and look at several dealerships. I think the TL is quite reliable and the few miles I put on it in a year (about 5 to 6k) do not justify the extra expense. If you frequently drive or park in a high crime area and don't have a garage, you should think about having Low Jack. It will also reduce your theft insurance premium. Replying to: kennyg8 (Feb 22, 2007 6:59 pm) With the Nav system screen running the air conditioning and the audio system, one failure to any of those could cost over $2,000 to repair. I'm unwilling to take a chance on that especially when you think about what the Nav system will cost to replace in 5 years. I know they are dependable cars but the electronics are very expensive and prone to eventually fail. Even a screen that becomes de-sensitized to the touch would be covered.
