In San Antonio there is only one place you need to go for an Acura. Actually there is only one place you can go, Gunn Acura. I have to admit that for one of those "one simple price" places they did a pretty good job. So I drove home my silver/taupe type-S 5 speed and my only complaint is that it was rush hour so I couldn't let it out. Each car is priced based on how long it has been in inventory and how many identical models they have but I took one of their lowest at 34,999 (plus approx 150 doc/inventory tax + TTL). They had a few at that price and plenty of others ranging up to 35,699. I was originally looking at the carbon bronze model but decided that I did not like it 700 bucks better (it was close between the silver and black at the same price). Anyway, I was surprised that their "one simple price" was so good...though the no-haggle approach meant I did not get any wheel locks, tint, etc thrown in for free. Since I like the whole car buying game I missed the wheeling and dealing but the whole process (including trade in) was outstanding. Definitely looking forward to some "spirited driving" tomorrow... |
