They even tried to charge adverstising fees. What kind of crap is that? You would never know that Acura was a high-end car from that dealership. We walked out. When he finally decided to buy, we got a great price from Rallye Acura on Long Island, NY and we have a very good experience. They were professional and no BS. |

| BUYERS BEWARE!! Be careful if dealing with Performance Acura in Chapel Hill. The internet manager there sent me a price quote on a 06 TL with Navigation that I had inquired about. After negotiating the price I wanted on what I thought was represented to be as a new Acura, he came back and told me it had 6,300 miles. We went ahead with it b/c it was the color we were looking for inside and out. Showed up to sign the paperwork and check the car out. Salesman wanted us to do the paper work first but we inisted that we take a look at the car and do a testdrive in it since we had not seen the car yet. Got into the car for the testdrive and realized something was missing...THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM!! Salesman was very adamant about the fact that we had never discussed anything about the navigation system in our dicussions. That seems very unlikely since I have an email sitting in my Inbox with our initial quote on an 06 TL WITH NAVIGATION. The Salesman never seemed surprised or apologetic about the mistake, probably b/c he knew exactly about what he was doing the entire time.. We left there and bought a 06 TL with Navigation with only 15 miles on it with a great dealership for the same price he was trying to sell the 06 without Navigation and 6,300 miles on it to us for. This guy is what gives salesman a bad name and I know I will not be using this dealership for any future purchases or even service needs. Just wanted to warn others to watch out for this salesmans crooked ways. | |

Replying to: unknown (Dec 16, 2006 8:42 am) Dealers are probably less likely to deal for invoice on 07's. That said, some folks are getting good deals on 07's too. Really depends on the individual and whether people want to spend the extra $$ for the 07. p.s. it helps readers if you don't use all CAPS.
