The $250 off MSRP just sounded ridiclous to me, that's all. Like ggesg said, Open Road in East Brunswick or Wayne, NJ should be a good bet for a low price. The holidays are generally a slow period for car sales so you should be able to work a dealer for a good price, especially considering the competition in this area.

Hi, I am seriously looking for a '07 tl. I went by the Dealer lot ( St.Louis MO ) and the MSRP is 33625 + 670 is the sticker price listed. I am looking for a reasonable price. Can anyone tell me price paid for this.

I have the 07 S-Type. Originally was gonna get the regular TL but was sold on a couple things:
1) The sporty look on the car is a great blend of aggression and dare I say elegence...The dual exhaust is a nice touch (along with the high-flow exhaust kit), but not too loud (nothing like a Mustang GT or Cobra); and the body doesn't have one of those rediculous-looking spoilers- just a nice little one with a sporty looking rear. Also, the handling on the S is pretty nice. A little stiffer than the regular TL but not too stiff. You feel bumps more, but when you are cornering, the car sticks to the ground very well; you just point the car wherever you want to go...

2) The additional 30 hp (to make it ~290)is always fun, but not overly-aggressive.

3) All TL-S models come standard with nav, and most other options. At the dealer, all the S's I saw had the carbon fiber molding accents on the inside, the auto dimming rear view mirror, mats, trunk tray- little things that add up.

4) It seems like many dealers are not selling the S's very well yet, so they are selling for close to invoice, if not at invoice. This is my impression based on my experience here in San Diego...This means for 35.5-36K you can get a fully loaded type-S for about 1-2k over an 07 non-type-S with nav.

5) Almost forgot the Brembo brakes that stop on a dime for the S!
