The doc fee is $45, and the DMV fee is about $180, plus some stupid item called used tires fees ($15). I believe they overcharged DMV fee by about $40, but considering they put in a full tank of premium gas ($50), I have no problem with the OTD price, as a whole. Curry is no more than a 20 minute drive once I cross the Whitestone Bridge. I made 2 trips there, about one hour each. The first trip was to test drive the car, choose the color combo I like from their stock and sign the contract. The second trip was to pick up and inspect my new ride, receive a quick training from sales as how to operate the navi and hfl phone, and to finalize the deal. All in all, a fairly good experience. You may save a few hundred if you shop in NJ or PA. But consider the time, gas and toll, plus the fact that you want to make sure the deal is legit and goes smoothly, the savings doesn't seem to justify the anguish in not being able to do a good deal in one shot. Moreover, once you pick up the car, you still have to register it in NY, which requires you to take a day off, and time is also money! |

You need to do your homework before deciding which dealer is trustworthy and suits you best. Remember, time is running out on the 06 models with navi because many people want them. Most dealers I visited had a lot more TLs w/o navi. Good luck! |

I have been looking around PA for the best price on a 2006 TL with navi. Just curious what everyone else has been getting offered lately. Also, has anyone looked to purchasing in Delaware since they have no sales tax? Thanks
