Hi, I got this from Appletree Acura, Asheville for a 2006 TL w/NAV, Anthracite with Black Interior. 31,875 incuding dest + 135 (Mud guard)+ 149 (Door Guard)+ 199 (Trunk Tray)+ 99 (Wheel locks)+ 175 (doc fee)+ 69 (License plate)+ 3% NC State Tax = 33675 OTD. Of course cannot combine with 2.9% APR though. Please let me know if this is good price.

Replying to: sas099 (Aug 16, 2006 6:41 pm) I recently purchased (in July) an 06 TL w/Nav from Sussman Acura's Maple Shade, NJ dealorship, and I found the deal legit. I initially dealt with the internet manager then presented it to the dealorship's sales mgr. It was pretty much a straight business transaction. They had a good selection and since they have a few dealorships in the Philly area that should help.they did negotiate a little on the options. Good luck. PS. After the fact I received another notice from the internet mgr. for late July/Autust with a price about $300 less than the June/July quote. It was if I recall correctly around $31,900 with Nav.

Replying to: alana106 (Aug 17, 2006 2:40 pm) St. Louis Acura has emailed me a "no-hassle internet price" of $33,387 for a TL with navigation. This is roughly $500 over invoice not accounting for the $1,000 dealer cash I understand is out there. I will probably go by this weekend and see if they are willing to negotiate or if I can make up some ground on my trade (Jeep Liberty). |

I want to thank ALL of you for being such a help! Here is exactly what went down: I searched the forums: Found I could get an 06 TL with Nav and a sticker price of $35,940 - many here were offering $30,800. That is what I offered both floor managers at Keyes in Van Nuys, CA and 101 West in Calabasas, CA - Both said they would throw in mud guards and wheel locks. However, the floor manager at 101 West (I can't print her name but its the same as the actress Ms. Zelwegger), is so incredibly cool and straightforward (see my notes in post #6538) and used Mechanics bank which had a better MF rate. Here is how it broke down: 36 months, 12,000 miles per year COST: $35,940 MY OFFER: $30,800 BANK ACQ FEE: $795.00 CAP COST REDUCTION: $31,595 WHAT I LAID OUT: $902.12*** (see note) TAX ON CAP COST REDUCTION: $74.42 FIRST MONTHLY PAYMENT: $425.00 TITLE & REG FEE: $256.00 CAL TIRE FEE: $8.75 DOC FEE: $48.71 TOTAL I LAID OUT: $1,715.00**** (see note) Residual was 56% MF was .00195 My lease payment is $425.00 including tax ***(note) the lease payment with ZERO down was origionally $453.86 but I wanted a nice round number so I added 902.12 (plus the tax) to bring it DOWN to $425.00 So if you don't want to put ANYTHING down, just REDUCE my 902.12+74.42 ($976.54) and you're actual DRIVE OFF would be less than $800.00 Oh, almost forgot. I was a pit peeved that the car had 221 miles on it and was gonna walk (okay, not really, but they didn't know that), so they threw in a set of body side moldings (normally $245.40 installed, $135.00 on eBay). I'm happy. Now you have some ammunition. Just print this and show them exactly what CAN be done. I had ZERO hassles. I will be happy to answer ANY of your questions. Matt |
