CT Acura Dealers by ct_driver

Posted awhile back about a visit to Devan Acura of Norwalk.

Since them, I've been to Executive in North Haven and Acura of Milford, and have talked price with NH internet mgr only. I have no desire to visit Greenwich Acura (nor any other car dealership in Greenwich, generally). Executive was really great to work with, while Devan was kind of 'if not you someone else', and Acura of Milford seemed more interested in badmouthing the fact that the local Toyota dealer was pushing more Camrys out per month than they'd sold in TLs all year.

North Haven offered 33,490 for an '06 automatic with NAVI. Add on 6.5% sales tax plus the 'destination fee' and you're approaching 36K. The dealer assured me that the price was good for any Acura he could find in the tri-state area (i.e., color/interior combo I want that is still available). Sticker on the car was 35.9K, so I figure they are quoting about $500 over invoice. I am going to try and get the 2.9% financing for 48-60 months through Honda, and think I'll get it because it seems that in CT there is a *TON* of '06 inventory sitting around doing nothing.

You're kidding right? Come on down to Long Island, where you can have the car below invoice (including the 1k incentive). I've been offered an '06 TL w/ NAV for 31,830 without any fight.

Good Luck!

Mike, did you recieve this quote via internet sales?

I intend to purchase a 2006 Acura Tl with Navi in the NJ/PA area and this is the best price I have seen.

Thx

Incentives and Fees by jslar1973

Newbie here. Couple of questions on 06 TL w/nav - got a decent internet quote for $31,790 before $615 destination charge and admin fee of $169, but they noted the quote was inclusive of the $1000 cash to dealer incentive and in lieu of the special 4.9% APR financing.

Are the $1000 cash to dealer and "special" APR deal mutually exclusive?

And what's a reasonable destination charge and admin fee if anything?

Ron,

I purchased my TL from Sterling McCall in late July via the internet process and found them to be the most competitive dealer in Houston. They gave me very fair conditions ($500 below invoice and 4.9% financing). I also found Gillman to be very proud of their vehicles and over priced.

Sterling McCall has the largest selection of TL's and best pricing structure in Houston. Buying a car from them is a no brainer.

jms8090, do you mind sharing the names of the Long Island dealers that gave you the $31.8k price. That price sounds very attractive, because even carsdirect wants $32.3k, which is about $500 more.
