Replying to: howparlaw (Feb 22, 2006 12:21 pm) I did in person and internet. I used the internet initially to establish pricing market and to reach out to dealers farther away. But I believe you'll get your best price in person. I did use Email/phone call with the salesman to speed things along. Best play is not to be in a hurry or too eager to buy. Do your research, set your price (with a few extras) and stick. Let the dealing cool off if not meeting your bottom line...they'll come around if not too unreasonable. Keep the prices on same par with others - try not to get too mixed up with TTL and other fees. Looking to purchase another TL for a friend next month. Please let me know how you faired. Good luck - S/Baltimore

Hi, My Audi A4 seems to be heading out of my hands and I need a new, more reliable car, TL seems to fit the bill so far. So, any recommendations for anywhere in NJ ? What price should I set for on an automatic TL, no NAV ? |

I also have an Audi 1.8T quattro (2002) it is a great car; but my 4 years free maintenance and warranty are up and thought it would be a good time to purchase a new car. The Audi is a 5 speed manual and I would like to continue that way. Was looking mainly at TSX (manuals are hard to find). Found 1 today and the dealer threw into the mix the idea of purchasing a 2005 TL 6-speed with 100 demo miles for 28,500. Does this sound reasonable? If one wanted a TL would 31K for a 2006 be a better deal? What does the 2006 have that the 2005 doesn't? Edmunds mentioned Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Anything else new for 2006? |

Just bought a 2006 TL Navi AT w/splash guards and wheel locks for $32.3 plus TTL in Los Angeles. Ended up going with Santa Monica Acura - and they were excellent. Several other dealerships were willing to match once I got that quote from one of the other dealers, but santa monica was closer drive and seemed to have better reputation than most. Acura 101 West also seemed to be on the up and up. Fleet mgrs are definitely the way to go. |
