I also got splash guards, Truck Tray and Wheel locks. The Jacksonville internet salesman was cool and he tried to work with me but I told him even if he could match my ft pierce deal I would have to travel over 2 hours to get the car and ft pierce was only 15mins away. Yesterday I bought a brand new silver/ebony 2005 TL w/Nav. After emailing and talking to several deales within the Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas areas, I got a final deal of $32700 from Vandergriff Acura, in Arlington, TX (near Dallas). The internet manager was very helpful, and even went to pick me up at the airport in Dallas. The other dealers I talked to wouldn't go down from $33k, and Vandergriff came down to a good price. The deal included the following: Base Price : $32,700 TX Sales tax Vehicle Inventory Tax: $83.12 Documentary fee: $50.00 Registration fee: $60.80 Title fee: $33.00 County Road & Bridge fee: $10.00 Inspection fee: $21.75 = Total out the door price : $35002.42 Car included tinted windows, floor mats, wheel locks, and navigation. According to dealer, the colors with bigest demand are Anthracite, Silver, and Black. So if you are looking Green, Blue, Red, or Gold, you might get a better deal. I spent about an hour an a half at the dealership, and salesman explained every single feature to me, so received great treatment. Both saleman and manager were REALLY concerned about getting good CSI scores (customer service....). Anyway, so I took the car which had only 2 miles, and drove it all the way to Austin (about 200 miles) which was about a 4 hour drive.....Navigation is awesome!!! and the car drives really nice. I will definitely recommend this dealership as I was treated well, and there was no switching of numbers in any way. Conducted all negotiations through phone and email, and made sure to receive an email with all the transaction details including OTD price before I went there. It seems that they had a bigger inventory at this dealership, so they were more willing to negotiate. |

So, I have a question about OTD - Shouldn't it include the Destination Charge? I have an offer on a TL w/NAV here in Atlanta for $32,865 plus $570 Destination - When I apply 7% sales tax, I get something on the order of $35,775 - Obviously quite a difference from earlier posts re the OTD. . Also, my dealer had a $398 charge for 'other fees' in the initial payment section of the lease calculations. . Said it was Documentation fees - Sound right? Long time lurker/First time poster - I've learned a lot on this site! Thanks in advance.

Bottom line is this...the best way to deal is through the internet...that way you get everything in black and white right in front of you...and if they are not willing to do that then maybe you should go somewhere else...remember expanding your search area may save you big money!!! And the price you posted eailer for the TL w/navi is high...but again I don't know where you live...and how many Acura Dealers are in you area....what I can tell you is that here in the Florida region...all Acura's are going for no more than flat invoice and some models well below invoice (MDX)...period...doesn't matter which model..RSX, TSX, TL, RL, MDX...bottom line is shop around your general area....I would say about 300 mile radius.....you will be amazed the price difference...I drove 200 miles and saved more than $1300 bucks!! Good luck!
