I just bought my TL 2 days ago from montclair. I got a fully loaded anthracite with navi...trunk lid spoiler...under body kit for 36,500 out the door. Wayne was the only dealer that went down to that price but i had a feeling they were gonna charge me for destination fees and registration fees. I bargained over the phone and made the deposit and went to the dealer. I would definetly go to montclair if i were you.

That sounds about right, have fun. A lot depends on state sales tax, and the goodies on the car like a spoiler. Financing is also a consideration, so we are all going to pay slightly different prices unless you buy MSRP and don't do any research

hey,

sorry i haven't responded, but since you are waiting on a 06 hopefully this info is still relevant and helpful. The two dealers that i have been talking to are gettel acura in sarasota and acura of orange park in jacksonville. both dealerships are awesome. i got the quotes off of the internet and the phone as well. the best price i got OTD was around 34,600? i actually didnt end up buying but will be doing so in a couple of months. i too want to see if the 06's have any changes. have u heard anything from any dealers in your area?

Regardng destination charges.... by nightcrawler29

Ok, so here are my 2 cents regarding destination charges from dealers. I have been reading a few posts stating that they paid X amount plus all these bunch of fees including the so called "destination charges". Does this charge make any sense at all to you??... I just moved from CA to TX and had my car transported on a truck and it cost me $575.00 bucks... and I didn't had a contract or any kind of "volume" transportation deal with the carrier.... So what I'm saying here, is that dealers most likely don't have a "destination" charge of $5xx bucks or so... this is nothing but BS, since they probably have pre-arranged contracts with carriers that transports their cars in bulk for them for a discount. Now these fees and other non-sense fees like document preparation fees, should be avoided.

I've never heard of a dealership haggling on the destination fees. I'm sure they make a little off of it, but it is pretty much cemented in price and non-negotiable. what a lot of people do, is negotiate for total price sans tax, title, and license. That way, the dealer can throw in whatever fees he/she wishes, but they will be compared with all other dealerships, including those that may not have outrageous paperwork and prep fees.

I find it useful for this forum for people to discuss prices without taxes and state licenses as the fees vary from state to state. It makes comparing prices easier...

$35,300 out the door for a TL with Navigation but no options. That includes 7% sales tax. Dealer says that is at invoice. He said I would then get the options (mud guards, wheel locks, trunk tray, body side moldings, and door edge trim at his "cost"). I emailed for the cost of those items but haven't heard yet. Thanks.

That's pretty good I think. The options could add up however.

Way to view Acura's inventory? by risa00

Is there a way to view Acura's inventory somehow? I am looking for a very specific car that is very far and few between. I have a bunch of dealers in California quoting me prices for it, but one dealership said there are only 2 cars in California and 1 in Washington. Is there a way to figure out which dealers have this particular car besides goes to each individual website and searching their inventory. Plus, some you can't tell if it's manual or automatic and what color interior it is. Plus, what does the exterior colors mean? Gx, Gb, etc?
