Sorry Nightcrawler it took me so long to reply.

I live in Vero Beach, FL. There was around 10 dealers with in two and a half hours from me, I emailed everyone for a price, then work the list down to the top three, and I hate to say it but I played them against one another for three to four days, I was blown away that the dealer in Ft Pierce (Rick Starr) beat every other deal I had. Jacksonville was at 35,600 otd, and West Palm was around 35,350 otd. I called the ft pierce dealer and told them I wanted to buy from them, and I knew they had the car that I wanted and the sales Mgr said OK. My sales tax is 7%, Base price was 32,600, but they threw out the dealer fees to get down to my price. BTW what a freakin awesome car, I love it, and if you guys ever need any mods like car cover or a bra check ebay, saved a lot of money buying my extra things from ebay.

A couple of days ago, I got a quote from Los Gatos Acura dealer of $30,534 plus tax/lic/doc fees for a Acura TL 2005 without navigaiton. Plus, the 1.9% financing will be on until tomorrow (July 6th) on TL. Good luck.

A car salesman I know, told me a couple days ago to beware about new cars with lots of miles, but being sold as new. Supposedly, if the new car has more than 100 miles on it, its supposed to be considered used, and therefore you should be able to negotiate a better price on it. At least that was in CA, but I guess that would be general for all states.... These cars might be taken for demos, and accumulate mileage over time... so for those of you that are geting low quotes on your TL's.... just don't forget to ask how many miles does the car have! The low quote might be attractive, but there might be a reason for it. Well this might or might not be very important, but its a good thing to know, since most of the time, everyone assumes that they are getting a new car.... well its like buying a used car from a dealer and assuming it never had any accidents, just because the dealer is selling it... just take some time to chit chat with the mechanics on the back and they will tell you a few things that happen with the cars, that the dealer won't necessarily disclose.

Good point. My car had 6 miles on it, and 3 were from me test-driving it. Most dealerships seem to have a DEMO TL that they use for all of the test drives. It has navigation and usually several add-on's to help sell the buyers on the car. The other brand new TL's at these dealerships should have no more than 10 miles on them, tops. Dealerships without DEMO cars may have a few more miles on each car, but I would think it would only take a few test drives per car to sell them.....Am I on track and making sense?

I just closed last night on a White/Parchment TL with Navi. I got the car for $32,280 +TTL and 3.9% for 60 months from Oakland and they were very great to work with. I had contacted the Internet Manger directly, had my fiance go in and wrap it up. I also submitted my request to Los Gatos, they were willing to give me for about the same price $32,255, but theres came in a bit late. I initially new I could get a deal like this because Marin Acura had quoted me this price a month or so back, but when I called them back they said that sales manager no longer worked there and basically called me a liar. They seem like a place that will low ball and then jack you. So I emailed dealers in the area with my price and went with Oakland, mainly because the Los Gatos came late and Sunnyvale was about $32,500. Thanks to everyone for posting on this board.

Can you email me and tell me who you dealt with at Acura of Marin. I found them very accomadating, and got a great deal from them. Is my available without me posting it here? Because I have recommended Marin, but if they changed personnel, I might not recommend them anymore.

I am in the market for a TL and you got a great deal. What was the OTD price on your TL? Name of Oakland dealership ?

I think there is only 1 dealership in Oakland, around 27th streed and Harrison. I paid 35,550 OTD for a non-Nav, but had a spoiler, mud gaurds, and some other goodies. And I think the CA tax was over 2,800.
