Replying to: tod2 (Jun 16, 2005 6:40 am) 2) The sunroof in the Maxima goes the wrong way.. 3) What is up with that schnozzola on Nissans?.. yuck. 4) The powerplant in the TL is a little more refined.. much smoother, IMO. 5) Longer basic warranty on the TL.. 50K vs. 36K. I don't see any risk in an '05... The '06s will probably have a price increase, and sell closer to MSRP at least until December, and you have a nice price on the '05. Just my $0.02 kyfdx

I'm driving three hours to pick up my Acura TL (w/out navigation) from Jay Wolfe Acura in Cleveland. They quoted me $30,900 + TTL and 60 months financing at 4.9%. The next best deal I received was $32,000 from a dealership closer to home. - Rob |

When I purchased my TL this week, the extended warranty of 7 years / 75,000 miles (above the standard 4 years/100,000 miles with no deductible was made available at $985. Basically I am picking up three years of additional coverage for close to $1,000. There is always the chance that I could incur some large repair cost to exceed the $1,000...but there is always the chance I won't. What are the thoughts here? Is it worthwhile to get the contract and is the price worth it?
