I was told by some SF/Bay are dealers that there are not too many 6MT's available. Is that right? They are willing to bring down the price for AT's but not much for 6MT's. Anyone had this problem? Thanks, vinpo |

Just brought my new TL w/ Navi home. Research, patience and this forum were critical. Spent a week trying to get great deal but dealers' responses were luke warm. Today, someone must have flipped a switch. Three dealers called with very aggressive pricing. Got TL w/ Navi. & splash guards for $32,670 from local dealer. Good finance rate too. The dealer came down $485 over night. Another dropped price $270. The total price was $20 over invoice with dealer's cost of splash guards. Best price I got for TL w/ navi and protection package was $32,775. The dealer cost on the protection package is $149 according to one dealer that I spoke to. I still find that hard to swallow. Inventory on TL is high in O.C. right now. My recommendation is maintain dialogue with multiple dealers, play fair, and be patient. Tiiming is everything. Baldzoro |

Hi, I am planning to buy an Acura TL with navigation. Now I am relocating to Austin,TX from College Park,MD. My question is where would I get the best deal. Austin has only 2 Acura dealers whereas Washington DC and suburb has a plethora of Acura dealers. Could some of you share your experience and give me an idea of the buying price at both locations. I have no problems in driving down to Austin which is approx. 1550 miles from DC. Also I am not sure whether to go for a TL or TS?X. I am looking for manual and I felt a substantial torque steer in the TL. In terms of reliability which is better, TL or TSX? Thanks |
