I should have added in my previous post that I had a bid from Libertyville Acura for the red/parchment TL I wanted. They said the car would be in any day, but their price was higher than Pauly Acura and they wouldn't match or beat them. The funny part is the car actually did come in to Libertyville, then Pauly Acura traded them for it and sold it to me for a lower price than L-ville's bid. I'm sure Libertyville is a good dealer, but in my case they were not as competitive as Pauly Acura was. Best of luck.

2005 TL Inventory To Begin Decreasing? by passat69

I just returned from a Sacramento-area Acura dealer, who told me that the number of 2005 TL's available starting next month (May} will be less because Acura always starts reducing their production this time each year. Anyone ever hear of this, or is this just another way to try to influence me to buy now? Thanks.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty certain that all new TL's come with a 100K/7yr drivetrain warranty. If the dealership would extend that time frame to the entire warranty, then that would be atypical!

I live in the LA area and just called a Cerritos Acura and they have that combo you are looking for. They quoted 33399. I've been quoted $100 above invoice from Thomas and Sierra Acura, but I would have to pick a car on from their lot.
I would just ask the dealer how much are you willing to go above the invoice? Current invoice in at 32555. If they are telling u other wise, that's full of BS. Tell them u don't need that extra "performance package" with wheel locks, mud guards, and trunk mat. Chances are they'll throw those in if u are firm.
I had 3 quotes that were willing to quote at $32,655, however 2 of them were 60 miles from where I live. The terrible thing was I got screwed by a broker near my place, that I almost ended up paying more on the cap cost and money factor, if I didn't break down and read all the numbers correctly. Anyway, I pull the deal out even after it took him 2 weeks to find my Desert Mist/Parchment combo. Now I'm back in the market looking for a another quote similar to what he quoted.

Ttell them you want the out the door price. If they tell oh add another 10% or $570 on top of the price quouted... tell them... to calculate for you that you want the total money out of your pocket.
That would include all the bells and whistles, and help you compare all the apples to apples.

hello!
did you lease or buy? I got a quote from them too. but I'm asking them for a purchase price, to be used for cap cost. Normally in the Alhambra/Pasadena area prices are very competitive.

hi,
so have you bought the TL with nav yet? I live in OC and I've quoted by 10 surrounding dealers, and it's a chunk of difference btwn dealers. Wonder if it's better in LA since there's more demand? pls advise. thanks.
