I had a great experience buying my 2005 TL w/Nav at Pauly Acura in Chicago. In late March after not getting anywhere with my local dealer I sent an e-mail to dealers in Chicago, eastern NE, southern MN, and KC. I asked for OTD bids as near invoice as possible for a red/parchment TL w/Nav. I got responses that varied from “we’d love to earn your business, call us and we’ll talk,” to quotes in the 33500 to 34500 range, except for Pauly Acura. They came in with the best quote (just under 33000+TTL). A couple dealers followed their first quotes with a better price, but no one beat Pauly. I also liked the way the salesman was straight-forward but low-key and said he’d like my business and would find the car in the color I wanted. I put down a deposit and a few days later Filip called to let me know that they had traded another dealer for my car, and since it came with splash guards and locking lugs they’d include those for the same price. I asked him to have one of his mechanics check it over for finish/mechanical problems and have it ready for me and he agreed. I flew in Monday morning, and everything went like clockwork. I met with the sales mgr and my salesman Filip, did the paper work and test drive, and was on the road headed home by 1215, less than 2 hrs. after arrival. The car is flawless, and I was really treated with a personal touch that made me feel like a long-time valued customer. For a straightforward deal at an excellent price with a motivated sales/service team that values your business and gets the details right, I’d highly recommend them.

I plan to purchase a TL in the next couple of wks (NJ area). Any good dealers this forum can recommend? Also, what is the best price I can get for TL w/NAV (w/o taxes, title etc).

Oh yeah it's 3 weeks in my Silver TL ...and I LOVE IT! and to you guys with BMW in mind. I owned a 5 series a few years back.... awesome but awful in bad weather. I tested the 3 series before buying my TL - Great car with their great clearance deal, BUT unless you opt for the 330 all wheel drive... good luck in winter. And that trunk and back seat [Tranny hump] are miniscule compared to the TL. Good luck! Archie |

My wife was skeptical about buying a new car because our 96 Camry is still perfect. However, when she saw the silver TL parked on the street her eyes lit up. Now we are in the market |

Hi, hope everyone is doing well. I live in Houston, Texas. I am interested in a 2005 TL 6-speed with Navi. As no dealer apparently has this in the silver/quartz combo, I will have to order it from the manufacturer through the dealer. I have received a quote of 33.5 (without any extras) from Gillman Acura. However, from this board, it seems I should be able to get a deal for 33K or less. Thoughts? Advice? Thanks in advance.
