Hi, been shopping for 2005 TL w/ Nav anywhere in Texas. Which dealership offers the best price? I have a total driveout quote for $35,800. Is this good? Please help! Thanks!

Joecoolbcl,

People have been getting anywhere from $32,200 to $33,500 on average (not including TTL). IMO, above $33,500 is too much in the current market. $35,800 for final price is pretty good if it doesn't include trade-in. That averages out to appx. $32,300-32,400 before TTL.

Best wishes.

Those numbers are close to what I paid at Acura of Libertyville late in Dec. 04. They were very professional, up front and solid to deal with. The car ('05 Black TL non-Navi 6 sp) is great! I also drove both a 4 and 6 cyl Accord and was underwhelmed. If your goal is practical worry free transportation get the Accord. If your goal is practical worry-free transportation with some spice and style, then get the TL! This car puts a smile on my face every time I turn the key.

You are about $1000 above some of the best prices posted for TL with Nav. Not terrible, but not as low as other posts you'll find. Local market conditions will dictate what you can get. If you're willing to travel a few hours, you could easily beat this price in Chicago. Otherwise, use the web to get as many local quotes as you can. Use these as a starting point in negotiations. You could also try bringing a quote from Chicago and see if the local dealer with match. Good luck.

Chicagoland quote by greg945

Acura of Libertyville's sales manager replied to an internet query, quoting $33,455 for an '05 Abyss Blue TL 6sp Manual w/NAVI and these dealer-installed items:

All-season floor mats (list 132)
Door edge trim (list 75)
Splash guards (list 89)
Body side molding (list 175)
Wheel locks (49)
(TOTAL accessories 520)

Opinions? According to cars.com (sorry, Edmunds, your invoice pricing is still missing!), a TLw/NAVI invoice is 30,164 base + 570 destination + 1,821 NAVI = $32,555 total.

This means that Acura of Libertyville is quoting roughly $500 over invoice...sound good?

They said that price expired end of month.

I have an acquaintance who works for an Acura dealer in GA, and according to him, the invoice for an '05 TL without NAV has gone up $200 from $30,146 to $30,346. Including the $570 dest, that comes out to $30,916. I'm seeing some posts here saying they've been quoted a price in the $30's. How are some of you guys getting at or below invoice? I live in Houston, and I'd love to have a deal at or near invoice as my wife and I are also shopping for a TL without NAV. The quotes I've gotten so far are nowhere even near invoice.
