I just got a quote for a 2005 TL- 31,991 plus taxes and tag and 33,991 plus taxes and tag for the TL with Nav. over the internet. Both prices include a 499 dest. fee. I am thinking this is not bad. I plan on trying to buy this weekend.

Whatever price you agree on, plus $100-$200 for everything else should just about cover it... and that is being generous.. Those two prices you just gave are less than $300 apart.. its going to be hard for someone else to say what you'll be able to buy it for... A "good price" is just an opinion.. But, the going rate seems to be somewhere between $31K-$32K. Good luck, kyfdx |

If you can get the car for $31,470, that's a good price, but $31750 including destination is also a decent price. You may need to pay a couple hundred more, and you may get lucky and get it for a couple hundred less depending on the dealer. At a certain point, you have to figure out how much your time is worth. If one of the local dealers had come within $400-$500 of the price I got in Cleveland, I probably would have bought it locally, but they were $1600 higher, so I made a two hour drive each way. Edmunds shows TMV in Columbus as right at MSRP, but one of the dealers will do $500 off.
