Replying to: crvols (Jan 03, 2004 1:56 pm) I was searching for a Silver/Quartz TL w/Navi and wasn't able to find it locally (Performance Acura in Chapel-Hill and Leith Acura in Cary) so went to Flow Acura online, did a quote request and got a good deal. price: $33,695 w/prot package incl. The docfee was high ($345) but the price of the car was fair and needed to get it quickly. I would recommend - but pretty far away from Raleigh-Durham area (1&1/2-2hours). Peformance Acura quoted about the same price, but didn't have color I wanted in stock. Salesperson was extremely knowledable and helpful. He tried his best and went out of the way to try to find the TL. I would recommend buying from this dealership. Leith Acura is right down the road from me and the first Acura dealership I went to. The salesguy wouldn't deal (Never first meet salesperson face-to-face before letting them know you're shopping on the Internet) and didn't believe that other dealers were below the TMV price. Long story short, salesman wouldn't quote me carsmart Internet price and insulted me in subsequent email exchange so I purchased elsewhere. I would not recommend this dealership. Hope that helps you future TL buyers in NC.

| You should have no problem getting your car serviced at another dealer. We bought a 2003 MDX in August(I live in Wash. DC) from a dealer in Columbus, Ohio. The salesperson drove the car from Ohio to my home in DC for no charge! When its time for service, I take the car to my local dealer. No problem. as far as shipping costs, check with the dealer, as well as with a car shipping company(check the Yellow Pages). I married a woman who lived in San Diego. She had an Accord and we called a shipping company to ship it from San Diego to Wash. DC. This took place in 1998, and it cost around $750. They came to her house to get the car, and delivered it to our door in DC. it took about 10 days. We were satisfied and we had no problems. | |

I am looking for a good price on a 6-speed, non-navi in the Midwest. Prices and dealership name would be appreciated. There is only one Acura dealership within 100 miles of me so I am willing to travel for a good deal. Thank you.

| I bought from Performance Acura and they were great. I ended up getting the only 6-spd with NAV that came in for the whole month of Feb and I was able to do it over the internet from Iraq! The internet sales guy, Jerry is great. I highly recommend him. Funny you mentioned Leith, I tried them down in Fayetteville and they wouldn't budge either. ohh well, their loss. | |
| Thanks for the info. | |
Ok, I saw a post that somebody got a base TL for $30,000 and then the lowest I saw with the navi is for around $33,500. So we pretty much have to pay $3500 for the navigation system, right? If so, I just can't see it to be worth it. What do you all think? And is $30,000 really attainable for a NonNavi?

$30k, thats interesting! The way I see it, its nearly impossible but thats good news. Durgak, you have to share the information with others. A very good deal, the best indeed, congratulation! |
