I agree. If you can afford it, go with the SH-AWD. Haven't met a corner I didn't like and the drive to work is so much better!
I got the 19" wheels, but in FL no snow to worry about. I too was worried about replacement costs with the 19's but called around to several tireshops before I bought my TL and the difference was minimal, about $50-200 more for a set of 4 tires (depending on the brand) when compared to the 18". And the 19" rims look so much better....IMO.

An Acura dealership in Houston, TX just quoted me $35.900 OTD for an 2010 Acura TL base model. I don't know if this is a good deal. I feel like it's just average.
Please let me know what you think. I'm getting this car for my husband as a Father's Day present.

Question for you BillyPerks...I am also from CT and I am shopping for TL SH-AWD with Tech pack and the price quotes I am getting are between $38,888 and $38,999 (not a big difference between them) with destination charges. Should I get better deal as returning customer? Thanks..divix

Just as a general rule of thumb, straight up deal, no manufacturer cash, no trade in which to pad the deal, no dealer add-ons, etc, just a "I want to buy your new TL, here's a check" .
There's $2,250 in dealer cash, that they have to work with. But, that's only on the TLs with the Tech Package. And, it's not available if you finance through Acura/Honda Motors Credit special finance rates.
While I can't confirm, I've heard from a couple of good sources (non dealership) that Acura raised the invoice amount on the TL sometime in April. So, anything manufactured after last month will probably cost more.
Again, just as a rule of thumb, a straight deal......a FWD TL w/Tech should be in the neighborhood of $34K (give or take a few hundred). A SH AWD TL w/Tech should be in the $38K range (give or take a few hundred).
As always, that depends on the particular geographic region you're in, if you've got a trade, if you finance, if there are "add-ons", if you buy an extended warranty, what additional fees the dealership adds to the deal, etc, etc, etc.

Does the exterior/interior color makes the difference for the price of the car? I am looking for Black/Umber SHD with Tech pack and from what I know there are about seven of these cars in the Tri-state area. Thanks for help.

I cannot really tell you what's a good price on the 2010 because I am not keeping up with incentives and rebates etc etc- I am not in the market anymore. I can tell you which dealers to stay away from- 1st place Devan Acura (real arrogant sales guys) 2nd place the guys in North Haven (too greedy) 3rd place Milford(bait and switch) and 4th palce the guys in Torrington (too greedy) . I think Greenwich is the best place to get an excellent deal, no bait and switch and no back room talk with slimy finance guys. I shopped around for a year and even went as far as Jersey, NY and NJ. Do your homework, find out the invoice on the car, the rebates and discounts and try to get it at or below invoice. The information is all over Edmunds, bring the printouts to the dealer, let them know that you have knowledge on whats going on.In the end, they always win but a least you will know that you did not over paid or inflate THEIR bottom line.

Thanks Don- it is very helpful. My new problem is getting out of my lease 5 months early. The so call "early lease termination program" is tacking the remaining payments I owe back onto the price of the car LOL. I so hate this process and appreciate you information. Best of Luck!! Lynda

I thought lease buyouts were as is. Would I try and make a deal with the dealerships or ??? I'm sure it's a silly question but I so out of my element and bet they can see me coming!
