2009 Base TL in NJ by jena

I just bought a 2009 base TL for $32K before TTL. I probably could have negotiated a little better for a few hundred more, but I got what I wanted for my trade, and the dealership had the color combo (royal blue/taupe) that I wanted. Otherwise I would have had to go out of state (and several hundred miles) to get that combo. I love the car so far, but was sad to let my '96 Infiniti I30t go. I seriously considered the G37x, but it just seemed a little too snug for me.

You got an incredible price. Is it an '09 or '10 model? Did you have a trade-in with it?

2010 Base w/ Tech by toddinsocal

I bought a 2010 Grigio Metallic/Taupe Base w/ Tech on 10/31. I wanted the wheel locks and splash guards, so the dealer added the dealer pak w/ those plus trunk tray (MSRP on that package is 444). Price I paid was $35.7k plus TTL, total just over 39k out the door.

I did get quotes for the same thing in an '09 at just under 34k, so I'm OK with the deal.

That's a sweet deal you got for a 2010. Congratulations! What region are you in and which dealership did you buy from? Thanks.

SH-AWD / Tech quotes or purchases? by acuracyclist

Anyone out there gotten quotes or purchased a '10 TL AWD w/ Tech pckg? Please share if you have. dealers in CA don't seem to want budge below about $39k at this point. I'm may wait until end of year and see if they get any more motivated to move a TL off their lot...if not I may just purchase an MDX...I can get 2009 MDX w/ Tech for sub $39k (a friend in LA just bought)

the '10 TL inventory is the exact same at two dealers i visited in early Oct and again yesterday. MDX's seem to be moving, but TL's do not. just my two cents...

I received quotes from SoCal dealers for a 2010 TL SH-AWD, 6SPD (MT) + TECH + HPT for $40895 + TTL. This is about $200 over invoice. Without the HPT it's about $1000 less - comparable to your experience. I think this is a reasonable price, especially with the 1.9%APR for up to 60 months (not 36 months like before). I am sure you can wait for more incentives to come but the special financing may not be available. But if you are paying cash then it may be worth it to wait. I am planning to finance the whole amount and put that money else where the interest rate may be higher i.e. mortgage, CC... I am just waiting for the local dealer to have the color I want allocated to its location. All the dealers have now are black.

adsa - Thanks for the info. I looked at the 6spd(MT), but each dealer seems to only have one or two, and they told me they would be able to agree to a better price on (AT), because the (MT) is so new and there are so few of them now.

$200 over invoice this early in the season without any factory to dealer money seems pretty good. I will make some calls and send some emails this weekend to see if i can get a SH-AWD (AT) + Tech for close to invoice, which would put me in the mid $38k +TTL range, i believe. I too will probably take the 1.9%, and put my cash to work elsewhere...
