Went to a dealer in south Bay Area yesterday and getting close but stuck on $34000+Tax and Fees. I asked for trunk tray and all-season floor mats as throw-ins. Dealer insist they want at least $200 dollars more but I would not add one dime more (they didn't even show me how to break down the fees and just told me in California it's 11% of the car price in total).
 
I compared 2009 TL and 2008 TL and know exactly what Acura is trading off. Boasting of advanced technology, but side mirrors are not dimmed, no ventillated seats, no rain sensing wipers, and I don't think they have light under the hood. It's a good car, but I really don't want to offer more. What do you guys think?

May I know which dealer you went to? I got a quote for around 33k(Tl+tech only) in late June. It is very possible the inventory is low and sales may have been better since then so may not be offering similar quotes anymore. The dealers who were able to give me these quote or were close to what i mentioned above were Stevens Creek Acura, and sunnyvale acura.

If a dealer won't make a deal for $200 go somewhere else. The options you mention are nice, especially if they are important to you. For me, the fact that I got a car that is probably roomier than a 5 series BMW at less than the cost of a 3 makes it a no brainer. Have you driven one yet?

try KEYES ACURA. They have inventory and are willing to deal.
 
Jsut look at our deal.
 
Just make sure you ask for the Internet dept otherwise you'll play the "Dog & Pony' show!!

I was in Sunnyvale and I don't think the inventory is low. Test drove both w/ and w/o SH-AWD. Besides, making a fuss about 200 dollar makes me wonder if they have better sales.

wait till tomorrow or dayafter, the numbers will be out. It should tell us if sales were better. The sales figures have been in lower 3000 range for the last couple of months.

compared to Aug 08. TL may not be as big a drop but I'm sure they are still lower compared to '08. Consider when making your offer. When dealers are hungry they will make deals.!

Hi I am planning to buy the Acura TL with Tech Package. while going through your post i didn't understand how much did you pay before tax . I went to one showroom and they dont have any new Acura TL with Tech pack available. when i showed your deal to them they said they can offer the demo models at that price without the mud guard. But i was not interested in the demo models. Monday i am planning to goto some more showrooms to check. so can you please tell me if the car you leased is a demo model? or new? can you also pls give me the exact price offered on the car?
can you also please clearly explain what are all the features included?
