No the quote I got from Elite was on a new 09. They did not have any 08's although I understand they may have a couple coming out of the loaner program in about a week and I think at least one has Nav.

Thanks for the reply. Which dealer gave you the pre owned price? I am also in for one if you are interested so that we will get a good deal.

Don't understand this number. With navi is another $2,200, so not a typo. But no dealer will sell one to me at this price.
I'm confused.

It's great and all that we talk about how much we paid for, and where we got our cars, and brag how low we got it for, but in the current economic climate, I'm afraid we won't be laughing or celebrating for too long. As this recession takes it's toll on the auto industry, think of this: dealers will be closing, more jobs will be lost, those that remain will be stronger and will control the market when the economy bounces back, and believe me, it will. I see things at the 50,000 foot level, these businesses need to be there for the long haul to service our precious cars in the future, they donate more dollars to the community that you or I realize, they need to make a profit to keep doing things like that. I'm not saying that you or I should blindly pay full sticker for anything, but these people that have made investments in these dealerships do deserve to make a living. We will all be better off for it in the future. That's just my two cents worth for any that want to hear/read it.

Car companies have been making good profits off thier customers for years. Companies who adapt to the changing economy and give thier customers what they want will be just fine. I don't feel sorry for any business that fails to ignore this. The free market will shake out bad businesses. Nobody wants dealers to lose money, we just don't want to be screwed. Acura was willing to negotiate to what I wanted to pay for my car. Lexus would not negotiate so I stayed with Acura. I would not feel sorry for Lexus if they went out of business.
