Hi all, My local dealer still has a few 08 TLs without Navi in stock, and I think this might be a good time to pounce. (I'm going with the 08 because 1) it should be a good deal and 2) I really don't like the look of the grill on the 09). Anyway, here is my plan - tell me if you have any thoughts. The dealer had sent me a quote of 27,500 for an 08 TL w/o navi in October. That price includes everything except TTL and their 'processing fee'. So I figure worst case, I can get 27,500 (+ processing fee). But surely I can get a better price than I got 2 months ago? I'm going to try for 26,000 and no processing fee. So add in 5% sales tax and I'm at 27,300. I'm also expecting to get Kelley Blue Book for my trade-in. Is this realistic? Could I do even better? I figure I can be aggressive because it's now 2009, I'm buying the base model without navi, and in this economy cars can't be selling very well. I'll also be paying cash, so I don't need any promotional financing. Thanks in advance! I'll post here tomorrow with the outcome....
