I don't know if I'm in the rite place for this but I own a 66 Fleetwood Limo just dropped a elderbrock 600 on the stock 429 manifold(bolted rite on with no adapter plate,it was sweet-sweet)anyhoo,anyone know what kind of transmission "rock crusher" similar, basically unbreakable w/a whollle lotta torque with a bell housing that will bolt up to a 429.It has a turbo 350 now as you should know with a stock 429.Any body done a high performance tranny upgrade to a old school fleetwood and if so what did ya use..Thnx |

| Has anyone added aftermarket speakers to their 94-96 fleetwood and how do you get around those round speaker enclosures in rear deck. Also do you have any problems with the ohms matching up with replacement speakers. Heard that the rear 8" speakers were 10 ohms | |

Trying to decide between two fleetwoods. The first, a 1985, 80,000 miles, pale yellow, white top, white leather. The body and interior are dirty but in good shape. No rips in the leather or vinyl top, no dents, no rust. I haven't gotten to drive it because the battery is dead. Other than that the owner says the engine is perfect. It was his moms who is too old to drive now. She has kept it in a garage for the last five years and it has only been driven a few times over that time. Price $1,800 The second, a 1996 brougham grey, grey vinyl, grey leather. 88,000 miles. A couple dings, the paint is a bit dull. Interior is IMMACULATE. No rust, no rips, no tears. The engine is very clean and a carfax report shows scheduled maintenance was performed on time for the life of the car. Price $4,000 I kind of like the older style but the the 96 is in much better shape. I know a lot depends on the condition if the engine of the 85 but lets assume nothing major is wrong. I would love to hear some opinions on which sounds better. |

| Hey I want to ask someone some questions about my 67 Fleetwood. It's black and needs a paint job and I'm thinking about changing the color. Is this a good idea as far as keeping the value of the car intact? I'm just getting into cars and don't know that much about them, but I do know I love my caddy...I'm having some things done to it now like putting the vinyl back on the roof (someone removed it years ago). Can anyone direct me to a chat room on this? Thanks for any help! | |
