Replying to: homerkc (Jul 12, 2009 7:10 am) Thanks for the info!   Well, since my earlier post I went to get a second opinion with an a/c mechanic. He said the compressor was going bad. He also said that he has seen this very same problem with many other 2005 Volkswagens. Very strange.
