Replying to: autoboy16 (Jan 05, 2008 1:43 pm) This was more than likely accomplished via ECU (Electronic Control Unit) software upgrade to add the 20 hp and raise the redline from 5900 rpm to 6300 rpm. |

| On our 2005.5 "new" Jetta, when you do a windshield wash, the wipers make an extra swipe after some delay. This is often annoying as when you are going slow or stopped it is not needed and sometimes just serves to smaer things. Can this be turned off by the dealer or using a Vag-Com? (we do not have the Multi-Function interface to change settings, I don't know if it is an option under that) | |

Hello, I want to know if removing my catalytic converter will reduce my performance, because I heard that this cars need some back pressure to operate properly. thanks...
