Replying to: carzzz (Aug 15, 2008 2:54 pm) It's about time someone realized that mating a 6 speed automatic transaxle with a poor(er) torque band I4 makes more sense than with a wide torque band V6. Not that the V6 can't take advantage of same, just that a 6 speed with an I4 makes MORE sense from an FE standpoint.   Now if they would just adopt Ford's variable displacement ATF oil pump to make up for the brilliant (FE wise) yet thoroughly FLAWED ATF line pressure control design introduced late in the last century and since propagated across the fleet.....

Replying to: ellyn25 (Jan 09, 2008 8:35 am) the tire pressure warning light on my 2008 Limited HL has also come on, and I have increased air pressure to all tires to 33 psi, except for the spare which needs to be removed.
