The rear hatch glass is manual (button on liftgate or you can use the remote button to open). Many of the minivan/suv/cov have fixed glass now, most of the time I just want to dump something in the rear and not have to open the whole hatch for the world to see what's back there.

How did you changed the color? Is it a dealer thing or can DIY? Is it for the standard radio or the JBL radio only? I have the standard radio in a Sport.

Thanks for the reply. When you had the tires rotated at 6,000 miles, did you get any feed back on how they are wearing? I'm trying to get an idea if they will make it through my lease period (48mths). Not much selection in this size. Only know about the Bridgestone Duelers and Toyo "Open Country A20s". It sounds like people are happy with how the A20s handle in wet and snowy conditions. Just hope they remain sticky for longer than the first year. Some tires' grip drops drastically after the first year. I have BFGoodrich Traction T/As on my other car and they were great the first year. Not so great after the first year. It's funny how Toyo makes no mention of the A20s on their website. I'd be curious to see what kind of mileage they expect from them. Would also like to know what A20 replacements might cost.

Do you have Navigation screen? If you don't, I'm not sure if yours will change. On the information center, you can change settings which includes colors for the screen. My radio is part of the Navigation screen, so I'm not sure if yours does or not. If you have the information center, the small box at the center, see if you have settings there, such as setting clock etc. If so, find the setting to change color. There are several to choose from.
Good luck!

It will be very hard to tell how long they will last until a few people wear them out.
I did the rotation myself, but I never looked at the tread depth, I usually just look to see that they aren't wearing faster in one band than the others (left, middle, right)...
So, I just dug out my tread depth gauge and gave them a measure. With 8,100 mi on her, I have used 2/32" of tread. The unused spare has 10/32", and you usually replace them at 2/32" (inspection fails). So I have 3/4 of usable tire remaining. If they continue to wear at this pace, then they will be a 32.4k mile tire.
It is interesting that the front and rear measurements were very close, with less than 1/64th more tread on the current fronts --- especially since the fronts only lived up there for 2k miles so far.
I believe it is possible that the first 2/32" will wear faster or slower than the rest, so no one really knows. It also depends on driving style, etc. So if you want them to last and last, be gentle !!
As for my driving style, the fist 2k miles so were probably pretty aggressive. I was coming from a two door coupe that could easily double the exit speed limits, etc... It took me a while to remember to slow down. I've been very easy on it for the last 2k miles (as the gas prices have gone up). Mix is prob 70 highway and 30 city/local.
(Note: I have the Toyo Tires on my Limited 4WD)

have 18000 miles on them and am replacing them due to irregular ware (front sholder) rotated at 5000 then missed the 10000 at 16500 rotated and ballanced due to a slight vibration. vibe got worse actually shook steering wheel from 65 to 85mph. re-ballenced then road force ballanced to no avail. went to toyota with complaint and slight pull to left Toyota says is within spec.contacted toyo and had tires inspected by qualified tire tec (discount tire) back to toyota this time they actually put it on the rack, made minor adjustments from yellow (in spec but not at exact spec) to the green (good ) zone and stated that the slight outage would not cause wear that they, I, and tire store see. Toyo has graciously offered a 50% pro rate on the tires reducing my cost to a mere 560.00 before road hazerd certs $795 after certs I will be watching the wear and rotating faithfully at 5000 mi . New set goes on tomorrow, stay tuned I drive about 2000mi. or so a month shouldn't take long. p s anyone else this lucky????? lets hear it oh yea toyota mfg. says since toyo is being so nice they will do nothing for me so mutch for customer relations from the manufacturer

I have a 2008 HL Limited FWD bought last October 2007 here in TX and it has BRIDGESTONE tires. Package came with EXTRA MILE option so I am following tire rotation schedule to keep warranty. It has 7500 miles on it now and has only been to the dealership once for oil change and tire rotation at 5000 miles.

Thanks for the info. You pretty much validated my concerns about this OEM tire. It's not going to make it through my lease. To date, I've never leased a vehicle who's tires didn't make it through the lease. I'm in Canada, so everything is represented in kilometers. If I'm not mistaken, converting your calculated tread life estimate to kilometers would make this almost a 50,000 kilometer tire. Our lease is for 4 years and 24,000 kilometers a year. For a total of 96,000 kilometers. If we drive the maximum per year, it appears the tires will be done in just over 2 years. My crude calculation based on the A20's treadwear rating of 300 had them lasting 3 years. Looks like they won't make that. I'll have to read the guarantee again but from what I remember it is pro-rated for 5 years with no mileage guarantee. I guess there's a couple of ways to look at this. I'll have pretty new tires on the vehicle for the duration of the lease. However, I'm going to be paying for it. Doesn't sit too well that Toyota has done this. They could have picked the Toyo 'Open Country' sister tire to the A20 named the H/T. It has a treadwear rating of 640. Even the Bridgestone Duelers have a better treadwear rating. It looks like Toyota wants to help Toyo move product at the expense of people who lease their Toyotas.

Fuel consumption history?

I've only filled up my new 08 Limited once and was expecting the fuel consumption rating from the first tank to be populated in the fuel consumption history screen. This did not happen. The screen I'm referring too is displayed on the multi-information screen. Can anyone inform me how this screen gets populated?

I think you need to reset the display. You can do this by pressing the DISPLAY buttonj on the sterring wheel until the screen comes up that says "PRESS AND HOLD DISP TO RESET" it is on the left side of the screen.
This has worked for me and I am on my 3rd tank - - Yippie.
