You are in the Scion tC
What is this discussion about?
Scion tC, Convertible
#149 of 2039 For those who want the supercharger

I'm pretty stoked about this car. Before, I was pretty set on getting the 2005 Chevy Cobalt SS when it comes out.
But then I saw this Scion Tc. I love the interior too. Very clean and well flowing design. Whereas the Chevy looks like more of the same. The Cobalt's interior is nice but it just looks...blah. You know? And I have a GM Card too.
Considering the parent company is Toyota, I can't go wrong.
I wanted to get the supercharger version myself but it most likely will require Premium gas. Then the insurance to top it off. Ask yourself, will it be worth it when you're probably sitting in traffic about 60% of the time?
I'd rather save money for a nice motorcycle.

I think it depends on what you want in the car. The Cobalt SS is most likely going to be much faster than the tC with the Supercharger, and will probably cost about the same.
The tC is going to be a great car, but FI or not, it's not really going to comepte with the Cobalt SS (in my mind).

Here is what Honda has in store for you...
If Lutz is to be taken seriously, they are going for the crown with Cobalt SS. Expect some serious action on this car, Eager young lads will be delighted to swing this thing...

It's not like GM hasn't had millions of recalls,
many for things a lot more serious than low beams going out.
#153 of 2039 Kinda like the Cavalier and the disposable head gaskets

Um, who cares? Read the top of the page, it says "Scion tC". Why does the Honda headlight recall have any place in this discussion, or the Cavaliers head gaskets? The Cavalier and tC will barely even overlap in sales periods.
Back to the tC- Any word on pricing or finalized specs?

I'm pretty sure that it's going to be offered as a base model. With the option of going for the supercharged version. Since Scion is a young brand targeting the youth market, it'll want to 'toe the water' first before offering more options to the motoring public.
I'm betting 17k for the base. Around 18k for the supercharged variant.
Darn nice package I'd have to say. Are toyota seats comfortable? That's going to be a big selling point for me in my next vehicle. I'm driving an old Pontiac right now and the seats are torture on long drives. Has a lot to do with the back pain I have now. Cripes.

Man, thanks for the link. Nice pics. It now makes the decision between the Cobalt and tC more agonizing.
I can't wait to see both in real life come later this year. Right now the tC is in the lead.

No Tc. I was VERY disappointed.
They did have an E55 though. That is NICE. Benz is kicking BMW's I-drive equipped 5 series in the nads.
The TL's stick is like buttah. I gotta have one of those.
