However, I am trying to use my Motorola V710 (Verizon) with the car, and I can't get the car to download the phon e book, or find a way to manually enter phon numbers into the car sysytem to use in a hands free mode. Any suggestions?

I want to inform all the GS430 aspirants in SoCal that it is possible to get a good deal if the dealer has several cars on the lot and more are coming in. This weekend I purchased a GS430 for about $4700 below list. I won't go into all the details, but the total drive-out price was just a nod under the MSRP. In fact, after reading all the posts here and on ClubLexus, I felt that the best deal one can get on the 430 is around $2K below list. My wife (its her car) reads none of these posts and decided what the most she is going to pay and the dealer just accepted it. Go figure....

Replying to: indiana97 (May 21, 2005 1:35 pm) Thanks. They are Konig model "Tantrum" wheels, 17 inch 17x7 (the OEM lexus is 17x7.5 but the tire guys said 17x7 is fine). I originally bought them at DiscountTire. The Dunlops off the original rims from the GS were not run flats, no. The tire pressure sensors were transferred over to the aftermarket rims except the guy broke one so I paid 56 dollars to transfer the rims to the Dunlops but they broke the sensor and have to shell out 135 dollars to Lexus... oh well.

I've put a deposit down on a AWD GS 300 ~2 months ago and my car has come in twice. The first time with the wrong external color (won't you consider changing your preference?) and the second time wrong internal color (won't you consider changing your preference?). While I want to be flexible, to put down >50K on a car and get your second choice for color seems stupid. Yet the response is, "If you aren't flexible, it will likely be another 2-3 months for your car". Should I be looking at another dealership? Replies to this message: bartalk3 (May 24, 2005 7:48 am)

I take it these two cars were not ordered from the factory but just came in as part of their regular allotment, or were traded to get close to what you want.   I think you need to make it clear to this dealer, if you stick with them, that you want the car you specify (including ext & int color) ordered from the factory, period, and you won't accept anything less.   Yes, if you're spending $50,000 on a car, you should should be able to choose the exact options and colors you want.   I would talk to another dealer and see if they're willing to get exactly what you want, no questions asked.

Dude read the post before you post a comment...even after re-reading the post you still couldn't get it right...see this is what pot does to your brain...   I was asking to see if someone knows where I can get 2006-GS430 invoice....repeat not where I can get the GS430 for invoice.   barttalk3...you need not reply my friend.
