we had the same problem with our 2007 yukon and i put a scanner on it and it said something was wrong with the accelerator sensor. I unplugged the wiring harness that is hooked to the accelerator pedal and blew some air in it an plugged it back in and never had a problem with it AGAIN..... Shop was going to charge me no less 200.00 and i did it for nothing..... GOOD LUCK and let me know if this pans out....

If your Auto-leveling system (compressor) continues to turn ON and OFF without any change to the carrying load in the vehicle, then its likely that your system is experiencing a small leak (one of the shocks or line/hose); one of the places I would first check is the hose connection at each shock (perhaps use some soapy water... ??), then move each hose (for any crease) back track to the compressor... Its a long shot, but there is a potential for a bad level sensor switch... but not very likely in my opinion. Good Luck !

Hello out there. I recently had the steering gear replaced on my 04 Denali by the dealership service dept. Vehicle rides great except when on rough or uneven pavement there is a loud vibration/rattling sound coming from the front left side. Took it back to them 4 times already and get all kinds of BS like "we can't make the vehicle replicate the symptom" or "that's your anti-lock brake motor engaging". I asked, why would it engage when I'm not braking? and the vehicle didn't have this problem before you all serviced it, reply "we don't know" but they made no attempt to diagnose the problem. Does anyone have a suggestion or idea of what's wrong? I'm writing a complaint letter to the dealership owner, management and GM. Thanks.
sorry for the long post
