I check around for pricing and come up to be around $200 to replace 2 u-joints in the front, having already replace the 2 in the rear, I hope this work. Another question you may know is about my rear shock, can we buy aftermarket brand because dealers are $600 for both. well, thank you for the advice. and I will let you know.

If you have the OEM Auto-leveling System, then you 1st would probably have a hard time finding those after market air-shocks (i.e. from Monroe and etc.) for the application. Although, I have seen some past post about Bilstein may have something that's close, but your on- board computer will display some sort of "Ride Control" message all the time, which can be a pain... I would suggest to checkout the place called Arnott, their price is much more reasonable than of a GM Dealership... Hope that helps. Good Luck!

Smart move having the extended warranty. My 04 Denali is in the shop right now having the front and rear "actuators" replaced along with the intermediate shaft and steering gear. My wallet says "ouch". Does this sound right to anyone out there. I don't mind having the vehicle serviced because it has been great the last 5 years and 115,000 miles just don't want to get screwed.

we had the same problem with our 2007 yukon and i put a scanner on it and it said something was wrong with the accelerator sensor. I unplugged the wiring harness that is hooked to the accelerator pedal and blew some air in it an plugged it back in and never had a problem with it AGAIN..... Shop was going to charge me no less 200.00 and i did it for nothing..... GOOD LUCK and let me know if this pans out....

If your Auto-leveling system (compressor) continues to turn ON and OFF without any change to the carrying load in the vehicle, then its likely that your system is experiencing a small leak (one of the shocks or line/hose); one of the places I would first check is the hose connection at each shock (perhaps use some soapy water... ??), then move each hose (for any crease) back track to the compressor... Its a long shot, but there is a potential for a bad level sensor switch... but not very likely in my opinion. Good Luck !
