It's popular in our circle of friends for the air ride and spacious seating, wife loves heated seating, my towing the 27 ft trailer is safer now. The transmission is someting you get to know. Tap it just before going up a hill and it will downshift to get the trailer up the hill at 2800rpm, but if you wait too late into the hill, it will drag the trailer up at 2000rpm only, not good. Learn to work with the tranny. coachman

I just bought a 2002 GMC Yukon. The heating in rear works great but, up front it blows cold air when heat is turned all the way up.

My Yukon automatically shifts to and from 2 wheel drive/ 4 wheel drive/ 4 wheel drive low and neutral by itself. Does anyone have any advice or ideas. I am planning on a long trip and need some type of ideas, as dealer says they have no ideas. Replies to this message: dawg5 (Nov 18, 2007 12:07 pm)

hello, ihave a yukon 2001. i noticed the service engine sign blinking for about 10 seconds then dissabear. this problem is recurrent. i also noticed some vibration when the car stop and some times i hear clicking sounds in the engine when i suddenly accelarte the car. i took the car to mechanic and got checked by the computer with the diagnosis of (miss fire). the computer couldnot specify which sparkplug, wire or coil is causing this miss fire. thanks

I had my 2007 Denali XL for one day and took it back and said, give me my 2005 back and I will buy a car from you.(They wouldn't do that) I have had 5 GMCs that I have loved and I knew that this one was WAY off immediately. I have a horse trailer. The new Denali has the hitch SEVEN inches higher than the old ones. I have spent 900+ to have two hitches made and my trailer remade to haul with this one. The lift leveler has only worked 3 times.(the manager and salesman jumped up and down on the hitch to make it work and then said "see it works!) The brakes squeek, the transmission is erratic. My trailer sways all over the road, which it has never done before. And yes, the service dept. says that everything is ok. I am petrified that my horses will end up on the road.

I bought my 2007 Denali and the next day I brought it back and asked my dealer to take it back, give me my 2005 Denali back and I would buy a car from them. I tow a horse trailer. Replying to: havanajoe (May 02, 2007 9:49 am) I am having the same problem I also have a 2001 Yukon Denali. It seems to do the whole shaking-clunking thing when I have been driving for a while. At times when it is real bad I have to liturally do a 3 point turn just to get into a parking place. What is the reason for this. I also recently been experiencing clunking during take off. Does anyone have any advice please. I no longer feel safe driving my six children around.

So I can fix the peeling problem on each side of my glove compartment as well as, a couple different places around the radio.
