#1044 of 1095 quick connect fittings by roughd1

Mar 08, 2012 (10:41 am)

Have a 04 XL Denali. Had the radiator replaced a year ago now the oil lines are leaking where the quick connect fittings go into the radiator. I researched and found that the retaining rings shouldn't be reused and one guy told me that the fittings shouldn't be reused either. Went to the parts store to buy or order the fittings and the salesman said it doesn't make since to not be able to reuse the fittings. Can someone out there answer this for me? I really need to fix this problem. The vehicle has 160K miles and never leaked before this.

#1047 of 1095 Please Need Help ASAP by tcss

I own a 2005 GMC yukon Denali and the brakes are not releasing after coming to a stop?? I thought it was just the passenger side front caliper and replaced it with a rebuilt one. Also I noticed the brake fluid was discolored? is this due to water in the fluid? Could that be the problem to why the brakes are sticking? I was told by one of my reputable mechanics that it was due to the ABS controller and that it would have to be replaced at the tune of $1200.00??? PLEASE help if you have any info...Thank you

Good morning Todd,
I see you've been working with somebody already to get this looked into - was it one of our GM dealerships? If so, we'd be happy to follow up on this for you. Please let us know!

It is your power amplifier. Take out the fuse for the power amp when you are not driving the truck. You will see the problem goes away. Replace the amp.

#1051 of 1095 Will not start by melanie775

I have a 2007 GMC Yukon, that will occasionally not start. I have had this vehicle in to my mechanic and they did something with the starter which was not the solution, as it happened again. The battery is fine when I try to turn it over. The vehicle doesn't even try to start, there is no sound of the engine trying to start, just silence. Then after what could be a minute, or a few hours, or a few days, I will try to start it and it will turn over. Help!

I have the exact same problem with my 2005 Yukon Denali. It started happening in 2008 and I have yet to find anyone who knows what the issue is. It's very sporadic - sometimes it happens every other day, and sometimes it's only once a month or so. I've taken it to the dealership SEVERAL times over the years, but because they can't duplicate the problem, they don't know the cause. All systems check out normal, and the one time they told me it was the battery (and I paid to have it replaced), it happened again the very next day. I hope that someone out there can answer your question...not only is this a frustrating issue, but I'm afraid that one of these days it's just not going to start at all.

#1053 of 1095 Yukon Radio Problem by tmn2

Jun 21, 2012 (7:23 am)

I own a 2006 Yukon Denali XL. Radio will randomly have audio spikes, screen will go blank and I will be unable to use most of radio controls. I bought as a pre-owned certified vehicle and it is still under warranty. The dealer has changed the radio head twice now, but i still have the same problem. I have scoured the internet for solutions but have only found people having the same problem. Here is a link to a person who documented the problem on video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RG0IAaQAtt4
Any solutions the dealer seems to to be out of them and my warranty is expiring soon.
