These are not adjustable in that way, only up and down. Is it bothering you as you drive? I think the reason they are this way is to reduce travel of the head when there is a rearender. Less whiplash that way. I thought they looked too tilted forward when I first saw them, too. But two years in, this has never been an issue as I sat in the car.

Doesn't bother me, but bothers my wife in the passenger seat. Seems like her's is a bit more tilted, or something. Maybe a body shop or mechanic ?

I don't have your problem, but I suggest checking your air filter, put in a bottle of fuel injection cleaner and see if that helps.Good Luck.

I noticed the same thing on my 300 3.5 within the first 1,000 miles the engine would shake like it is staling and the car moves forwards a bit I whent to the dealer and a mechanic told me that it is from the way the vavles where seated at the factor and as long as it doesn't cause a computer code they will not do anything about it.

There is a service bulletin for your problem. The bulletin #06011 the date of bulletin is Feb.23,2006.It states valve seat not properly seated in cylinder head. They admitted to you thats the problem. If you car is under warranty, they should fix this, you are having a problem caused by this valve seat not in the head.I would mention this bulletin, and tell them your symptoms caused by this problem, and your car should be repaired. If they still won't try another dealer,or call Chrysler.

Long term experience?? by vic10

So it's been 3 yrs since this 300 model was introduced. How's it holding up?

My 2005 300C with 36,000 has been virtually trouble free. Oh, the seat back on exit feature stops working every few weeks and has to be reprogrammed (odd that the steering wheel up always works though). But no other issues. At all. I'm wondering in particular if anyone has seen problems with the MDS as the engine gets older?

I had a 300C with numerous problems but your exit feature can be fixed. I complained four times and they finally put a new module in and that cured it. I had the dash replaced twice, the fuel pump once, some sort of esp module once and a thermostat in 54,000 miles. When the lease was up I got a Lexus. Problem is with the Lexus I haven't met any new friends at the service dept like I did with the chrysler. I sort of miss the roar of the hemi, but not the repair problems.

Have over 43,000 on my 05, done all the mtc required, just have cosmetic issues. A couple of weeks ago did a 1200 mile round trip and was getting from 24-26 mpg. For a hemi this is very good...

Can you describe this feature a bit more? I bought my mom an 06 300C for Christmas two years ago and she's always singing the praises of her car but she has never mentioned this. I don't think she knows it's there.

Is it something you have to enable in the personal preferences?
