Hi. I was hoping someone can direct me to anyone willing to issue me a GMID Certificate. I have to purchase a new vehicle... mine broke down. I was trying to hold off till I was ready, but things don't always work as planned. Thanks, George |

"she who must be obeyed" long before I ever heard of edmunds, and I think I started here in 1999 or thereabouts.. Following the advice of a previous poster, I decided to "be a man" and confront her about the H3... We argued, tusseled, wrestled, for days...no sleep for 3 days, no food for 5 days, did not speak to each other about anything else for over a week, missed many days of work, and finally, she learned who was the boss, who ran the show, whose word meant something, and I won!!! We agreed that I could lurk, read, and post on the edmunds H3 topic for as long as I want to...I showed her who was the boss!!!...

I know the 2006 H3 did not have the child safety locks on the rear doors. GM was rumored to have corrected this oversight for the 2007 model for vehicles produced after January 2007. I just test drove an H3 last week and did not find the switch on the back doors! I don't know when that particular vehicle was made in relation to the rumor. Does anyone know if these locks have been added for sure? This could be a deal-breaker for me.

Great news for parents looking for the Hummer H3 to be a family vehicle, and may have been looked at other vehicles instead of the H3 because of child safety locks. Aren’t these pretty much standard on all SUVs? I guess for Hummer it’s better late than never! The two changes are part of Hummer’s mid-year enhancement for the H3.

Wouldn't a good dcx extended warranty(bear with me - some are not worth the paper they're written on due to 'can't duplicate') be a better idea? Thanks for the updates, but there are sites where builders and mechanics of h3's, and a photographer post and the rumors persist about h3's. Is the volvo out? Why h3? Is the residual still being kept high? 6k miles plus, one oil change, clipped off top of the antenna to clear garage. Better_half just drives it.
