Well, in the USA, Subaru just had their best sales month ever. I think the lineup is great and they finally caved in and offered incentives.   So don't be surprised if SoC reports record sales next month...   -juice

Saw an ad in the local newspaper claiming a huge Subaru sale: limited time & limited stock. Have been thinking about an OB for awhile & decided to go down for a look. Salesman responded with what sale? Does anyone know if SoC is starting to deal? Am located in Vancouver

All, I am an Subaru newbie and have been convinced that the Forester is my best bet for what I am looking for. I really need this ASAP and was wondering a few things. Does anyone know if any 2004 are kicking around this late into the next season. Can anyone give me the Candian price breakdown for the 2005 ie invoice price vs MSRP. What about the LL Bean edition?   Also has anyone ever used APA to get a quote? Is it worth it? Was it the lowest.   Thanks in advance for any help. Replying to: sduford (May 20, 2005 4:37 pm) Was at a Vancouver area dealer today (am buying a VDC). he has 2 tribecas on the lot & 1 in the show room. Claims he's sold 11 of them already. They are quiet big, lots of rear leg room. Would be very comfortable for long hauls i would guess.

I do most of my own maintenance, but the times I have had service work done there, it has been satisfactory, but not awesome by any means. Hope this helps. Replying to: ozman62 (Jun 01, 2005 9:18 am) Seconded hugely re: Sub Calgary. I really like dealing with Terry Bharti, he's been there forever and is a genuine, no BS kind of guy. So is Jack, the sales manager. As for servicing, great so far (5 years) if a little pricey, maybe it's the effect of a joint dealership with Jaguar. There is an independent Subaru specialist in Calgary (Allmakes? Allsubaru? something like that). I have heard they are good but I dont have any experience with them.   JP
