I started this and it vanished. I bought in Norwood MA and paid about 3,200 below MSRP and then paid 5% MA sales tax. I posted exact numbers here back in Aug-Sept. Another poster here just bought in Watertown, MA (Lexus of Watertown) and paid about 4,200 below MSRP. Check out post 884. I live in MA but would have bought in DC area because I have a daughter who lives there and I could have combined a visit with car pick up. good luck, katherine |

| Did you have to order yours? Mine is taking forever just to have them build it and it's being built in Canada. | |

I am about ready to purchase an RX330. I have two issues to resolve before I set out. First, I don't need the AWD but wonder if there is any reason to get it (resale, etc.) Also, I'm guessing most of the available models on the lot will have AWD? Second issue is the 18' wheels. I have seen some say the ride is harsher but the "look" is better, along with perhaps slightly better handling. My question is just how much harsher/noisier will the 18" wheels be? |
|
| What's on the lot depends a lot on where you live. Here in Texas about 90% of what's on the lots is FWD. However I looked in Denver in November and Cincinnati in December and EVERYTHING they had was AWD, so it depends on local market conditions. I don't think you'll find an RX 330 with anything other than the 18" wheels though. | |

visited today, 90% are FWD so no problem, that is really what I preferred and all have 18" wheels, again no problem I was quoted $37,600 in Birmingham for: FWD Premium Plus 2 level heated seats 18" towing package wheel locks cargo mat this is based on MSRP of $40,538 Based on my review of the board, a good price is more like $36,500. I will have to resort to out of town dealers. |

My dad's lease on his 2001 MB ML320 ends in early July 2004. He test drove the RX330 and really liked it. Would anyone who leases be willing to share their lease stats (down payment, monthly payment)? Back in early February the salesman gave us a rough estimate of $595/month with nothing down on a model with the Premium Plus Package, heated seats with rain sensing wipers, and the 18 inch wheels. Thanks! Matt |
