The driver's seat creak issue is pretty common. First time I had it they ordered me a new seat base and installed it but it's creaking now after only 1,000 miles. I've got another appointment scheduled and this time we'll look at the TSB stuff. Here is a link if you'd like to take a look, the process is the same as the one described a few messages ago: http://www.alldata.com/tsb/Acura/1147417200000_1148022000000_06-018/index.html Brake pedal squeaks: jeann was talking about the brake PEDAL, not the bakes. My brake pedal also has some friction: when I first depress it I can feel the pedal "grabbing" as if the hinges are too tight, and as I press the pedal further I can feel some friction that shouldn't be there. I'm going to have them take a look at this as well when I take it in. My MID is always off when I get in the car and start it regardless of how I left it. Personally, I like it defaulting off (since there are so many other displays to look at in this car already). It would have been cool for this to be a programmable setting, though. |

Answered question from another post: You need to enable your remote first by pressing both the lock and unlock at the same time. You will see the LED blink on the top of the fob. You then unlock the door with the remote, put the key in and turn to II. You should see the MID shows Welcome Driver 1 or (2). Now you can customize settings for each driver. |

My 06 TSX is having starter problems. I've taken it to the dealer 3 times. 1st: The alarm wiring is interfering with the ignition, recommended to take back to selling dealer. 2nd: Selling dealer said that nothing is wrong, looks at the alarm, takes out an unused wire and said it is fine. 3rd: Car still not starting properly (an electrical kind of noise then engine dies). Since selling dealer is a jerk that blames it on user error, I take it back to #1. They say the battery is no good and they change it. My car is still not starting right, I'm in the process of writing to Acura USA and perhaps taking it to the dealer a 4th time. Any advice on the Lemon Law or getting a refund???
