I was having issues with my 2005 TSX when I would have the stereo up to around level 30 and then windows down there was distortion in the speakers and it was the system "cutting out" the tones and stuff to keep from blowing speakers so I would have to hear the very loud "crackle" noise coming from the speakers. I went to Acura and they ordered new speakers thinking that they were blown. Get the new ones and same thing was happening, so I went to a "stereo store" and went to buy new speakers, and they came out and looked at mine and said that since they have premium sound and deal with the HO that they are good quality and they offered to tweak the sound system to maximize the out put. So I allowed them to do that, and they put in an amp on rear seat back in trunk and put in a sub that is easliy removable if I need the trunk space and tapped into sound system and so now I have my treble settings on +5 and bass on -4 and so now I really like the sound from my system now with a very minor adjustments and I do NOT get the noise that sounded like blown speakers, and also very loud and clear sound. That is what I did for the upgrade and like the sound a lot better now. Hope it helps you out.

Has anyone installed a fuel injection performance kit - AEM - K&N - ect. on a 06 TSX ??? I installed the K&N filter when I got the car, but was wondering about the kit. Thanks!

Have a canadaian Tsx 2006....solved the problem..before shutting of the engine, put the parking brake on...after you restart the car take off the parking brake(after all the warning lights go off)...the upper part of the MID comes on automatically..at least it does on my car. If I do not do it this way, the upper MID does not come on unless I press the button

i have a 2004 acura 6 manual speed. Was bought new. (that is with 20,000kms on it as it was a demo). The mileage is still very low (i think 27000km).Last may the transmission broke down, and the car is still at the acura dealership...more than 2 months later! We bought the extended warranty just in case, and even though it is still under warranty, they want to charge us for the repairs for more than $3200. They say the driver is at fault. Only i and my husband drive it, we're in our 40's, not teenagers...and we previously owned an acura integra , standard as well for 8 years, and we NEVER had a problem with it. I think the TSX might have the same transmission problems as the other acura vehicles, but they just don't want to recognize it and there's not enough history yet...The TSX has only been in circulation for 2 years. Had i known about the transmission problems Acura has, i would have never bought that car. We bought Acura to have a car that gives no problems, to have a safe car to drive our kids around, and for the service. We're not happy with the car and we've been badly treated, so as far as we're concerned, we'll never buy another Acura or Honda. Our next car is a Mercedes...man i would never have thought about it, but mercedes actually has a vehicle in the same price range that's soooo much better. No comparison. I'm just so happy now to have a car you can depend on , and a company that has an outstanding customer service. Nowadays Acura is overrated.
